HOME TEAM - YELLOW

MATCH PROCESS

• Match cards must not be printed earlier than Wednesday evening prior to a match.

• Preferably, match cards should be printed on the Friday prior to the game to so that the latest circumstances can be included.

• Under NO circumstances should an entire season of match cards be printed in one go.

• Errors that will be fined by the QCSA• Vested official not listed• Team Manager not listed• Jersey numbers missing• ID numbers missing

• Home Team to have all their information filled in and signed at least 15 mins before kick off.

• Find the Away Team Manager and sign each other’s match cards at least 10 mins before kick off.

• Team Managers go to both teams and check photo ID Card with match card and face.

• Away team official gives Match Cards to referee at least five mins before KO.

• Opposition is entitled to check players ID even if they’re late. Warn opposition if you know.

• Take player and ID Card to opposition when they arrive before taking field.

LATE PLAYERS

NO REFEREE• Match MUST be played.• Both teams agree to a ref (Home usually).• That person MUST do entire game.• Match MUST be played under usual Rules.• Ref takes card for game duration.• After match, Ref fills in the information required.• Includes Yellow/Red Cards issued.• Both team officials initial score.• Winning Manager takes card.• MUST be received by Registrar Tues.

SCORES• Must be entered in My Clubmate.• Must be submitted by 3:30 pm (includes

Friday night fixtures).• Exception is 2pm KO or later (5:30 pm).• Home and away scores are both required.• Clubs / teams will NOT be chased for

scores.• Fines are applied to missing scores and

fines passed onto relevant teams to pay.• Scores are unofficial for 7 Days.

MATCH INFORMATION

• Clubs wanting to forfeit must contact SSSC Secretary by 7:00pm Monday.

• SSSC Secretary to contact QCSA Fixture Officer by 7:30pm Monday at the latest.

• Email is acceptable, but follow it up with a phone call if you don’t get confirmation.

• Any withdrawal after this time ~ fines as well as match fees for both teams will be applied.

• Obviously, Friday night games are required 24 hours earlier.

FORFEITS

RESCHEDULING• First let SSSC Secretary know you are trying

to reschedule• SSSC Secretary will notify QCSA Fixtures

Officer prior to 7:30pm Monday.• Contact Bob Wingfield for field availability.• Contact opposition and agree to a new

time/venue.• Club Secretaries to both notify QCSA Fixtures

Officer of agreed upon details.• Team manager to notify team once match is

sanctioned by the QCSA

WITHDRAW FIELD• QCSA Secretary and/or Fixtures Officer must

know by 6:30am.

• Fields cannot be pulled after this time.

• Referee will call off game if necessary.

• All members will be notified via email by 7:30am IF fields have been withdrawn.

• Do not contact the committee!!!...if you don’t receive an email from us (or if notification is not posted on our website or Facebook page) then your match is still on.

• Pulled fields will be posted on both the QCSA website and the Club Website.

WET WEATHER

Team Officials

• Coach• Vested Official • Signature Official (usually the team manager)• Team Captain (Seniors Only)• Each of these 4 have very distinct and

different duties.

4 TYPES ( for QCSA)

• In some cases they can be the same person and some they cannot.

• We’ll look at each one individually.

• The coach is the person who runs the team and for our purposes we are only concerned with Junior teams.

• They can be the signature official, but never the vested official.

• The coach is purely concerned with keeping their team under control.

THE COACH

• The vested official is the person who controls the crowd.

• This person cannot be involved with the running of the team.

• They are to sign the match card to indicate to the QCSA who they are.

THE VESTED OFFICIAL

• They are to observe the game from wherever the majority of spectators are. Not on their own and not from the coaches box.

• If a Referee has a problem, this is the person they will talk to sort it out.

• If people are breaking the smoking, alcohol or other rules, this person has to address it.

• While VO’s have to control all spectators, not just their own team’s. It can be helpful if in all problems that arise, both VO’s solve it together. It make’s for far greater harmony.

THE VESTED OFFICIAL

• As you can see it is a very important position to have.

• Make sure your managers / coaches are very careful about the people they ask to be Vested Officials.

THE VESTED OFFICIAL

• It’s advisable that all teams get someone who is prepared to do it most weeks. And a backup for when they are away.

• EVERY GAME MUST HAVE A VO FROM BOTH TEAMS PRESENT.

• Fines, Loss of Points occur without one.• In some cases, SCM rules that a team

must have multiple VO’s.

THE VESTED OFFICIAL

• Recognizing that some senior teams struggle to get the team, let alone spectators. If no one is available, the VO may be an on-field player…FOR SENIOR TEAMS ONLY.

• The Signature Official is a very simple task.

• They need to sign the top of the card to confirm that all their players are eligible to play in this game.

• They need to sign the bottom of the card to state whether they are satisfied which the eligibility of the opposition or not.

SIGNATURE OFFICIAL

• The signature official is usually the Team Manager.

• We are only concerned with Senior Team’s captains.

• Every Senior Team (SM, SW, >Age) must have a Captain’s Armband.

• This person must be responsible and able to keep the team under control.

THE CAPTAIN

• The Armband can be worn by anyone as long as it remains on the field at all times. If the wearer leaves the field, it must be given to another player.

• Should any problems arise on the field, this is the person the Ref will speak with, who must then relay the message to the rest of the team.

• The Armband does not give the wearer any more right to question the referee or dispute any decisions made.

THE CAPTAIN

• In most circumstances if the captain asks a question at an appropriate time and tone, they’ll receive an answer.
