Prevention of Human Trafficking

• 7 Protective home(2 Mumbai, 1 Thane , 1 Pune, 2 Nagpur 1 Nandurbar) and 5 Special rehabilitation centers(2 Mumbai, 1 Pune, 2 Thane ) with capacity of 615

• Other than the minor victims are admitted in children home and majors are admitted in women shelter home where the protective home or Special rehabilitation centers are not established

• 8 Proposals of implementing UJJWALA scheme are under consideration for licensing as protective home under sec 21 of ITPA

• 7597 rescued girls and women are admitted during last six years 87 percent are from out of the state and country

• 3018 victims are send to their origin during last three years

• 12 anti trafficking units have been established

Bal Sangopn Yojana Family Based Scheme of Bal Sangopan-

Bal Sangopan Yojana (BSY) aims to strengthen support services for children at the family level thus reducing institutionalization of children.

better treatment. Took her away and gave water for drinking She was unconscious and woke-up in Pune Handed over to other women and sold Rescued and repatriated with in one month

Brought her in Mumbai and handed over to other person.
