Land Training Croatia – Montenegro
Searching for business ideas far away from home sounds like
a holidays, but VOYAGE is nothing like that. Simona Šimulytė
(the author and developer of VOYAGE) makes participants
live by the rule “work hard, party hard”. Sleepless nights,
running from one business meeting to another, constant
stimulation of creative ideas during the workshops – all this is
needed to make participants to develop business idea during
the 2 weeks travel and to pitch them to investors.
Warning notice:-the path to Olympus of business is not easy.
Changing conditions that challenge and stressed out
participants during land training are not without a reason –
constantly changing business conditions are part of
entrepreneur’s life.
All stories about adventures of VOYAGE participants can be
found here: http://voyagechallenge.com/secrets/
Sea Training Croatia
The sea training was full of challenging tasks that are
closely related to teamwork, leadership, creativity and
other skills useful in business.
Apparently, the most challenging task was saving “a man
overboard”, which required each team to save “a man”
overboard. Interestingly enough, international team
accomplished this task much faster and more efficient
than Lithuanian team. Captains told that international
team solved this task per 38s! This task wasn`t the only
one, when international team showed better results than
Lithuanian team. You probably wonder why.
The explanation can be found here:

mother-in-law-faster-than-lithuanians/
Land Training Sicily
Land training in Sicily was as challenging as in Croatia –
Montenegro. Simona Šimulytė applied the same rule “work
hard, party hard”, and made participants to re-draw what
they call “their limits”. Intensive training programme,
constantly changing conditions and inspiring meetings with
local business who share the secrets of their success – an
exclusive method making participants to develop many
business-wise useful skills under “fast track” training.
While many students were preparing for the exams in
May, 16 youngsters accepted VOYAGE challenge -
unconventional entrepreneurial travel training. How to
develop business ideas attractive enough for investors
when you are in Sicily? Check the stories and get

Sea Training Sicilia – Malta
New environment, new rules. Despite the strict rules, hard
shifts schedule, waking up early in the morning with just a
few hours of sleep and poor rest, no one is late. On the land
there is so much more chaos than here.
The biggest lesson participants learned during practical
assignments in sea training - irreplaceable members in the
team is one of the biggest risk that can lead the whole team
to failure. This was proved during a number of times.
How can you apply such task in business? Firstly, it’s
obvious that mistakes and their correction cost a lot of time
and energy. Therefore, it’s better to invest in making it right
from the first time. Secondly, team members cannot be
irreplaceable. At least two team members have to be able to
implement each others assignments. This will prevent from
failure of the whole team if a particular member is absent.
