To all our grandparents and families who visited us for our special lunch last
Thursday. You can see what a lovely time everyone had by the beautiful big
smiles.
To everyone who supported our Book Fair. It has been very successful and
will provide much valued resources for our school library.
Thank you to Mrs Allen for the time and effort you put
into providing this opportunity for us all.
To Silvy and her canteen helpers for providing a delicious
variety of lunches for everyone to enjoy. You’re a
treasure Silvy!

A reminder that a number of our stu-
dents have serious allergies to foods.
Nuts is one of the most serious. We
ask that you remember this when
packing your child’s lunch and recess.
Please also speak with your children
about the effects of contact for those
with allergies and anaphylaxis.
2019 SCHOOL LEADERS
Yesterday I met with all Year 5 students to begin the process of electing our
2019 Captains, Vice Captains and School Leaders. Some key dates to remem-
ber are:
Thursday 15th November @ 9.30am—Final day for nomination forms
Tuesday 27th November @ 11.40am—Speeches in the hall
Tuesday 11th December—Presentation Night—2019 Leaders announced
I wish all those students who are standing for election the very best and thank
them for their contribution and positivity towards our school.
PROUD AND DEADLY AWARDS
The 2019 Proud and Deadly Awards will be
held this Thursday 15th November at
10.00am at the Commercial Club. A number
of our students will be receiving acknowl-
edgement for their achievements across a
range of educational and extra-curricular are-
as. It would be lovely to see the families of
these recipients there to share in this special
occasion.

THE CROW
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Crow 2018
Thank you for all of the generous contributions made by families and local businesses which has made the Crow more affordable this year. The yearbook is coming along nicely and will be a wonderful record of your childrens’ memories at Wagga Wagga Public School. They also make wonderful Christmas presents for your loved ones.
The Crow price has been reduced considerably and is now $30.00 per copy. Please indicate how many copies you re-quire and pay for your copy/copies by November 16th, 2018 (Friday, week 5). * THIS DATE IS FINAL DUE TO PUBLISHING DEADLINES! Please also note: contributions already paid do not include a copy of the Crow.

The Mango Fundraiser
If you love mangoes, here’s your chance to
indulge in fresh, juicy North Queensland
mangoes at a great price and support our
P&C Fundraiser.
Mangoes will be coming direct from the farm
to you—as fresh as can be.
Cost per tray $25.00 (approx 18 per tray). Or-
ders close Friday 16 Nov.
EFT payment available.
NOTE: NO ONLINE PAYMENTS
Pick up from WWPS Canteen 3-4pm Wed 5th and Thurs 6 Dec or
contact Jane on 0438 424 096 to arrange alternative pick up.
