HORSE & RING EVENTS RULESPOST ENTRIES

The charges for which have been fixed as follows: Stalls $12.00 per night.Height and type of all horses are to be stated on Application Forms.The committee reserves the right to amend or alter the ring timetable.
MEMBER TICKETS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE:
When framing the Timetable for judging every endeavour will be made to avoid clashes of events, but events will not be held up as responsibility rests with the competitor to be on time. Birth Certificates may be required for proof of age. Age of riders to be actual age on the day of the event.The following Ribbons will be awarded: FIRST – Blue, SECOND - Red, THIRD – White, FOURTH - Yellow.All Trophies to remain with the Wagga Show Society unless otherwise specified or won outright. All Jumping Events are listed in the back of the program set out on Friday. Stallions can only be shown in Stallion classes and must be kept under control at all times with a bit in its mouth. A bit must be used when LEADING OR SHOWING any stallion on the Wagga Wagga Show Ground.Aggressive Stallions will not be tolerated and owners will be told to remove the horse from the ground immediately.

IMPORPER BEHAVIOR:Outside assistance to competitors by word, radio or any other method in the horse ring events will not be permitted. Competitors or strappers are not to approach the judge directly. If in breach of these rulings. Competitors and their exhibits will be dismissed from the event and from the Show Ground. Also attending competitor’s names will be submitted to the A.S.C. for further disciplinary action.STALLS:All stalls to be cleaned of dung at departure time. AGGA WAGGA HEIGHT OF HORSES:Shetland is not to exceed 10.2 hands. Pony is not to exceed 14 hands. Galloway must be over 14 hands & not exceeding 15 hands. Hacks must be over 15 hands. An allowance of 2mm for shoes will be made.
Current Hack Council or EFA height cards will be accepted.
DEFINITION OF A NOVICE HACK:One that has not won a First Prize at any Agricultural Show.DEFINITION OF A INTERMEDIATE:One who has not won First, Second or Third Prize at a Royal Show.DEFINITION OF LOCAL:(Including local horse) to reside within a radius of 50 kilometres of Wagga Wagga.TRIPLE CHANCE RINGS:The best performance in only one ring being the first ring for the day can be counted for Royal Show performances.
All prize monies are GST inclusive.In the event of a dispute the ringmaster rulings shall be
final & there will be no further debateregarding the His/Her decision.
Any competitor abusing or name calling officials conducting the event shall be removed by
security.All competitors must Print and Sign waivers before they
ride if not they will be asked to leave the ring and will not be allowed to compete until the waivers are signed.
All waivers must be filled out completely and PIC numbers must be included
No exemptions will be granted and no certificates will be accepted from Competitors.

Terms & Conditions1. The submission of this form does not necessarily mean that your
stabling has been allocated.2. If accommodation is not available you will be informed by phone.3. Any person giving false information on this form will be requested to
vacate the stable.4. Stables must be paid for on application otherwise your request will not
be considered.5. A $25.00 bond is required for each stable. If the dung is removed from

Agricultural Societies Council of New South Wales Limited and(name of show) ___________________________________________ (together the suppliers) advise that participation (including passive participation) in animal handling at an agricultural show contains elements of risk, both obvious and inherent. The handling of animals is a dangerous recreational activity as animals can act in a sudden and unpredictable way, especially when frightened or hurt.
1. By signing this waiver I acknowledge that:
1.1 participation in animal handling is a recreational service for the purposes of section 139A of the australian competition and consumer act (cth) 2010, and also a recreational activity for the purposes of section 5K of the civil Liability act (nSW) 2002;
1.2 participation in animal handling is a hazardous activity and may result in injury, loss, damage or death to me;
1.3 participation in animal handling requires certain skills and experience. I declare that I have sufficient skills and experience to be able to safely and properly participate in the events;
1.4 animals can act in a sudden and unpredictable ways, especially if frightened or hurt, or if exposed to loud or unfamiliar noises;
1.5 animal showing events will be held in close proximity to rides and large groups of people, and that there may be loud and unfamiliar noises which can frighten animals;
1.6 if the event is held outdoors, there are risks to me as a result of the weather conditions, including either extreme hot orcold weather, rain or wind;
1.7 insects or other animals may cause animals to become frightened and act in an unpredictable way;
1.8 there is inherent in events involving the handling of animals the risk of suffering injury including injuries caused by animals; and
1.9 I use the facilities supplied for the event entirely at my own risk, as I find them and with the prior acceptance of the riskof possible danger to me.
2 If I suffer injury, loss or damage (Loss) while participating in an animal handling event, I will not hold the Suppliers, their employees or agents legally responsible for any Loss I suffer. I will not sue the Suppliers, their employees or agents for any claims, costs,damages or liability. I agree to release the Suppliers and their employees from legal responsibility for the services I have beenprovided and/or activity I have participated in.
3 I acknowledge and agree that my participation in the event and associated activities is dangerous and may have inherent risks as a result of which personal injury (and sometimes death) may occur. I acknowledge that the event and associated activities carry with them a significant risk of physical harm. I accept and assume all such risks of personal injury or death in anyway whatsoever arising from these activities and hereby waive my individual right to sue the Suppliers for all claims I or my representatives mayhave for such personal injury or death against the Suppliers in any way whatsoever arising from or in connection with these activities.
4 At the time of participating in the event, I have not been to any degree under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs.

5 I will not consume any alcohol or illicit drugs while participating in the Event and agree that such use may result in my beingexcluded from the Event or other events with no entitlement to any refund of money paid for entry to the Suppliers.
6 I agree to be bound by the rules and guidelines of the Agricultural Societies Council of New South Wales Limited as varied from time to time.
