Church at Prayer Please pray For those who are in need of our prayers, especially for Pam Wood, Fran and Bill Brien, John and Jenny Dent, Necia Graham, John Mueller, Noel Collison, Garth and Enid Crisp, For Joy Wayling, her daughter Pam and her son Bryon who are extremely ill and facing major changes to their lives For members of the Church Council its Executive, the Refugee Committee For Rev Paul Cosier and Staff at the Team Ministry Centre For the staff of Uniting at Pilgrim For our Volunteers For our retired Ministers For the Children of refugees kept in detention in Nauru For those who are homeless For families suffering from a tragic loss For the Harden/Galong Congregation Message from Tevita Mone in Bowen Hello ... as you know Debbie has not been kind but lucky she wasn't too fierce. Thanks for your constant messages n prayers. Please let the congregation know that we r fine n kids are doing better than I expected. It is a good experience and we know what to expect n prepare next time. I think Debbie is preparing us for a bigger one in the future ... hopefully not when we r here hhhh. However we r doing fine n mem- bers of the church r all well. There r some minor damages to the church properties but pictures are taken for Insurance purposes. Presbytery has constantly be contact and now the roads are open they got us to drive to Towns- ville yesterday and stay in a motel n have a good meal ... which was so refreshing and nice. We will return with a bor- rowed generator n gas stow n gas bottles n other supplies. Last night was so heavenly ... light n tv n hot shower n air- con n hot food n etc ... kids just wanted kfc n maccas ... we r not a restaurant family hhhh. Please thank the congrega- tions and everyone for their prayers n everything. Love from Kids n I. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Would you like an opportunity to help young people at Wagga Christian College? Some High School students need people to read or write for them during their exams. Exams run from Monday 15th May to Friday 26th May. If you are available at all during these two weeks and would like to help please con-tact Dale Skewes (0422 595858 or [email protected]). Volunteers need to have a Working With Children Check number (Dale can assist you with this process).
