The innovative solutionWALFORMplus is a positive tube fitting system that consists ofjust three components. The mechanically reshaped tube end ispositively connected by a conventional DIN fitting body and a DIN nut, the only possible leakage path being sealed off by an elastomer ring.One characteristic feature of the new series is the shoulder on the end face of the reshaped tube, which is inserted into the 24° cone of the body. This results in a marked improvement in assembly behaviour and good protection against excessive tightening.

Die einzigartige WALFORMplus-Geometrie ermöglicht eine praxisgerechte Montage,wobei das Montageende durch einen deutlich spürbaren Kraftanstieg angezeigtwird. Die zu leistende Montagearbeit beträgt, bedingt durch den geringen Monta-geweg sowie das niedrige Montagedrehmoment, nur einen Bruchteil herkömmli-cher Rohrverschraubungssysteme. Das Suchen anderer Anhaltspunkte und das Einhalten bestimmter Montagewinkel entfällt. Optional kann die Montage auchdrehmomentbezogen erfolgen.

The unique WALFORMplus geometry permits practical assembly, where the end ofassembly is indicated by a noticeable increase in force. As a result of the short traveland low torque, the required assembly work is only a fraction of that for conventio-nal tube fitting systems. There is no need to look for other indications or complywith specific angles. Optionally, the assembly process can also be based on the torque.
