Walk With Scholar(WWS) Programme-2014 Admn.

ACTIVITY REPORT

Walk with scholar programme is a new initiative of Higher

Education Council. They had started this programme in

Govt.colleges from last year and in Aided Colleges this academic

Year. Thirty students were selected from all Aided courses on

the basis of Plus Two marks. Then Five mentors are selected from

Aided staff.

Dr.A.Biju Principal ,Dr.T.R Muralikrishnan HOD, Department of

English,Dr.Sabu M.K, HOD Department of Computer Application

HOD Department of Computer Application Ms.Sheeba Vargheese

,Assistant Professor,Department of Electronics and Ms.Sheeba

K.H ,Assistant Professor,Department of Business Administration

are the mentors. Under each mentor ,there are six students.

This academic year we have conducted three external

mentoring classes on different topics. Dr. Rengarajan,Former

Professor,English ,Maharajas College, Ernakulam took Class on

communication Skill. Mr.B.Ajayakumar, Rtd. Chemical Examiner&

Corporate Trainer took Classes on stage fear and public speaking

and also a class on personality development and Group discussion

have been taken by Mr. Manoj M.B , Mentor ,Aswathy Aiswarya

Avenue ,Puthur ,Palakkad Corporate Trainer .

All internal mentors also took classes on various topics just like

soft skill development,reasoning ,numerical ability and power

point presentation. All internal mentors also collected their

personal and academic details .Then an industrial visit is

arranged during vacation . All mentees were performed very well

in all classes.
