HARBEL IS OFFERING COMPUTER CLASSES
HARBEL is pleased to offer a series of beginner, intermediate and advanced computer classes.
Students will learn the basics of using a computer, writing a resume, editing, internet use, and
computer applications. Classes have begun and will run for one week for each level. Cost is
$25 per week. Checks should be made out to HARBEL and brought to the first day of class. All
classes are held at the HARBEL building, 5807 Harford Rd. beginning at 9 am. For more

The League of Women Voters of Baltimore City will be holding forums for candidates for State
Senate and

Delegates
in
the
2010
Primary
Election.
Forums
will
be
held
in
each

Baltimore's six Legislative Districts. Both Democratic and Republican party candidates will
attend and the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Tuesday Market in Greater Lauraville ‐

the
second season of the Tuesday Market in Greater
Lauraville beginning every Tuesday from June 1
through October 26. Hamilton‐Lauraville Main Street
(HLMS) created the Tuesday Market at the
Connection with a mission of supporting existing
business and attracting new business. Local
businesses were invited to take part as vendors in the

Disaster in Pakistan The worst floods in Pakistan history have led to unprecedented death and destruction with
more rain predicted during this monsoon season. The United Nations has called this a global
disaster and has asked for a global response. On August 19, the US State Department
established the Pakistan Relief Fund so that “all Americans [can] join in this tremendous
relief, recovery
and
reconstruction
effort”.
Clean
drinking
water,
sanitation
and
health
supplies are a priority. Donations can be made to the Red Cross, UNICEF or the Pakistan
Relief Fund. Contact information can be found below. Our thoughts and prayers are with
our neighbors who may be directly or indirectly affected.
