THE ART OF GIFT WRAPPING

Gift wrap and paper expert Wanda Wen will show us what it means to

give thoughtfully wrapped presents. With expert tips, techniques and

creative vision, she describes how to use natural, uncommon and every-

day materials to perfectly dress any gift. Wanda says: "I am excited by

the process of creating things and the outcome of what personal pas-

sion and intention produce. There is nothing more beautiful and moving

than what the human hand & heart can create."

During our December meeting, Wanda will be demonstrating some of

her gift wrapping techniques, her new book will be available for pur-

chase & signing by her and a selection of SOOLIP paper products will

be available for sale.

Wanda is also the founder of Soolip, a Los Angeles paper boutique. She

started Soolip nearly 15 years ago out of a life long passion for paper

arts, letter-writing and the simple pleasures of life. Please visit her

website www.soolip.com or her store Soolip, at 8646 Melrose Ave,

What an exciting and fun time Susan showed us at our last meeting. I don’t think anyone could have imagined how many gourds there are or what you can do with them!! Thank you so much, Susan, for an interesting presentation!!

THANK YOU ARNOLD BERNSTEIN,

HOST OF THE SPECIAL TOUR

Imagine having over 258 fruit trees in your own backyard?? Arnold does because it’s his backyard! Arnold was an incredible host for a tour put on for our paid members. Members were given the privilege of touring and learning about his many trees and actually partaking in taste tests!! Thank you so much Arnold for such an incredible tour!! By the way, several atten-dees asked for a list of his trees and we have posted that list on our website www.malibugardenclub.org
