Wanhua Ecoboard is the new generation mdf fiber boards, 100 %

environment friendly.

Wanhua Ecoboards are NOT made from wood But uses agricultural fibers,

residue or are left-over from harvests, a product that is usually burned as

a waste problem. Using the advanced processing technology, the result is a

board that is far superior to MDF or particleboards on the market today.

Wanhua Ecoboard, which puts an end to the history that all wood-based

panels release formaldehyde, is a truly formaldehyde-free product.

We have a complete set of facilities and excellent staff for the research, development and

manufacturing of straw board products, devices and adhesives. Besides, our company is also the

first high-tech company specialized in production, tech-introduction and research of straw board

industry which truly achieved the integration of multi-industry chain from the production of

eco-friendly adhesive, straw board making equipment to the manufacturing of straw board.

Our boards have a natural and unique look and feel, with a clear and golden surface

We produce a wide range of straw boards to different technical specifications, which can be

applied in many different ways, for example: in furniture making, door making, flooring,interior

design, sound insulation and construction

Instead of physical binding method using urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive in traditional wood-

based panel, chemical reaction takes place during the adhesive process of Ecoboard by MDI

polymerizing with straw fibers.

When MDI gets mixed with straw fibers, three chemical reactions would occur and totally

change the molecular structure of the board.

1.surface filming: react with the water on the surface of the straw fibers to form a compact

protection film.

2.fiber hardening: react with the water inside the straw fibers forming a solidified layer to

support the board body.

3.hydroxy chaining: react with the hydroxy in cellulose molecules to form a thermosetting

adhesive network structure.

By the way that polymers polymerizing with each other, we realize the improvement of

Ecoboard property. According to the state authority confirming detection, physical and chemical

indicators of Wanhua Ecoboard have all reached or exceeded national standard.

Formaldehyde-free:

According to the National Panel Testing Center, formaldehyde emissions have been measured

at 0.02 mg/L, which is one tenth of the amount allowed by the European E0 standard. This

minimal emission comes from natural substances contained in straw stalks.

Besides releasing no formaldehyde, Wanhua Ecoboard adopts straw fiber to replace lignified

fiber creatively to have an excellent physical property outstripping ordinary artificial board.

Resistance to Deformation

Eco-friendly adhesive MDI has strong reactivity so that it can react with straw cellulose

molecular to form firm irreversible new chemical bonds working as effective bonds inside the

board. Due to the way that polymers combined together firmly and steadily, MDI has been

widely used in automobile industry to make bumper, brake pad, damper, and so on. MDI has

also been applied to military area as an important material in manufacturing armor, bulletproof

helmets and armor vehicles. Thus, Wanhua Ecoboard has the advantage of hard texture, steady

shape, high strength and good ability in bearing and resisting deformation.

Moisture Resistance

Large amount of natural wax layer on the surface of the straw fiber has a dampproof effect for

Ecoboard like the paraffin additive in damp proof slab. In addition, MDI itself plays an important

part in producing waterproof coating and sealant. After MDI reacting with straw fibers, the polymer

composite structure formed in the reaction has pretty good hydrophobic property. Consequently,

Ecoboard is not easy to absorb moisture. Furthermore, its volume expansibility after being affected

with damp is superior to ordinary artificial boards.

Fire Resistance

Straw fiber contains a lot of silicon dioxide, which is a natural fire-proof material. Relevant test result

also shows that our product, even in cases of adding no fire retardants, could meet the requirement

of B2 instead of C for ordinary boards. When Ecoboard is on fire, it could only become carbonized

rather than spreading to other objects.

With a versatile machining process performance: suitable of further processing such as perforation, tenoning,

form milling, bending and carving, etc., Ecoboard has a homogeneous density, glossy surface, no obvious

chromatic aberration and can be processed in a similar way with wood-based panel. Meanwhile, Ecoboard

could be dealt with surface decoration including melamine veneering, single plate veneering, polyester paper

veneering, fireproofing board veneering, PVC, paint and other plastic film coating process.

Wanhua Ecoboard can be used in producing a variety of high-grade furniture,

various plate combinations (fixed) furniture and disassembly of furniture. The

strawboard can be assembled into furniture through melamine, veneer and other

surface decoration veneer processing. It can also be processed into furniture

and decorations after the treatment components, such as polyester coating, paint

finishing, powder coating, hand-cover stickers, stickers, and cover film (0.36 mm)

PVC vacuum so. In addition, the board can be processed into various shapes;

plate side can process a variety of curve shaped edge.

doors and relief doors. You can paste decorative paper, decorative veneer and polymer panel,

and it can be painted directly or be pasted by PV.

with a capacity of 160 thousand cubic meters/year both existing and under construction. We
