Experience the Gallery, current exhibits, and free activities for the whole family. This is a FREE family event that takes place at the Gallery Cinemas (excluding the morning movie - advance tickets only can be purchased at the Woodstock Art Gallery for $5 each), Woodstock Museum, Woodstock Art Gallery, and Theatre Woodstock. Families can enjoy culture all in walking distance. Experience film, make art, partake in storytelling, history, drama, and live performance.

Join the gallery as we celebrate our youth! This is an event created by our youth for our youth. Experience new works of art created by ART BEAT artists form College Avenue Secondary School students and Oliver Stephens Public School students. Discover a display of written word, listen to spoken word performances and view the feature film created by local artist Michael J. Doyle.

SIMPLE SOLAR ETCHING

Create a print with sunlight and water and your imagination. Solar etching is a form of printmaking that uses photo sensitive plate, sunlight and water to provide the artistic ingredient and none of the chemicals and acids of traditional etching.

LIFE DRAWING: Discover a NEW way of seeing

Weekly figure drawing classes include a curriculum, at-home practice and monthly critique by arts professional, Ron Milton. Models will be posing nude and/or in costume for various lengths of time throughout the evening. Registrants are required to bring their own drawing tools and materials.

INTRODUCTION TO MONOTYPE PRINTMAKING

Students will be introduced to monotype printing. This type of printmaking is considered to be the most painterly and produces non-editionable prints because the images and lines usually cannot be exactly reproduced so no two prints end up being perfectly alike.
