Authorization Request Warranty Claim

The authorization claim is created and submitted to you

It is processed and rejected/approved based on the data and attachments submitted by the dealer.

As checks, any existing checks in you implementation can be used. Alternatively, there is an ACS

delivering a comprehensive set of checks and their implementation in the action matrix. For more

information, see: http://www.sap.de/acs

Depending on the result, the request reaches different statuses

The result of the Authorization Request is communicated to the claimant

No financial process is triggered by the Authorization request

The complete Authorization Request process is implemented in a new claim type and is part of this

ACS.

Authorization Request Warranty Claim Processing the pre-authorized Warranty Claim uses your claim process which may (or may not) be

supported by other ACS, especially “Warranty Management – Extended Warranty Checks”.

(see http://www.sap.de/acs )

For handling the claim’s connection to the Authorization request, your process is amended by:

Check if a claims needs to be pre-authorized (by country, partner, value, …). This check is

implemented in VSR. Thus, it can be used on dealer portal before a claim is submitted, too.

Check if the claim “fits” to the authorization (reference object, dates, partner, value, etc.) is

integrated into the VSR checks

Synchronization of the claim status with the Authorization Request status. Request can be

“Reserved” or “Used”. This prevents double-usage of an Authorization Request

Checks and status synchronization are part of this ACS
