Webinar Protocol
• All participants’ microphones are automatically muted to eliminate background noise.
• All participants are asked to hold their questions until the Questions box on the GotoWebinar toolbar is opened. This will be done after each section of the training is completed.
• All questions that are not addressed during those times will be answered at the end of the presentation.

• MSP Online Administration– Demos and Tutorials are currently available
– April 12th – Management Tools available
– April 26th – Test Session Tickets Available
– May 3rd – June 4th, 2010 • Reading and/or Mathematics at grades 6, 7,
and/or 8

Roles and Responsibilities - District Assessment
Coordinators
• Work with the Technology Coordinator to ensure that online testing access is provided to all schools testing online within the district
• Provide usernames and passwords to appropriate School Assessment Coordinators
• Manage student data within Student Editor• Develop and implement a district plan to
ensure that the security of student Test Session Tickets are not compromised before, during or after testing

Roles and Responsibilities -School Assessment
Coordinators
• Work with the Technology Coordinator to ensure that online testing access is provided to all of the appropriate computers within the school• SACM page 3: Add note “Each student computer should be
used for taking a Tutorial to test the school network prior to operational testing.”
• Provide training to all Test Proctors who will be involved in the online administration
• Maintain test security; follow appropriate procedures for printing and distributing Test Session Tickets
• Provide usernames and passwords to appropriate Test Proctors
• Manage student data within Student Editor

Before Testing - Demos
• Demos– Demos must be reviewed at least once by Test
Proctors who supervise any of the online administrations.
– Students who will be testing online must be provided at least one opportunity to review the Demo for the particular subject and grade the student will be testing online.
– HINTS: • Set up a computer in the library for students to
access Demos• Use SmartBoard with internet connection to
view Demos in classroom (Teacher-led review)

– Please note that at times the link on the testing software to the Demo may not connect. Having a browser already open can help with that issue, but if schools have any problems accessing the Demo, they should use the first two options above.

• Tutorials– Tutorials must be reviewed at least once by
Test Proctors who supervise any of the online administrations.

• Test Session Tickets―Testing Main Page―Spring 2010 MSP Online Test―Print Tickets• PDF format• XLS format – could be used to sort students in
a different order, add a column to sort on different criteria, print on label stock, etc.
• Specific students ―Test Session Tickets become active upon login
/ inactive when exiting the test by clicking “End Assessment”
―Re-login up to 90 minutes from starting test

• LCS Monitoring Tool (for those schools using an LCS only)―More information about LCS and the Monitoring
Tool is located on www.WAtesting.com/online.―Contact Customer Support if the Monitoring Tool
is not at 0 for “Test parts finished and saved” and/or “Test parts finished and pending” on the morning after testing.

Test Security
• Testing Labs– Configure labs to reduce possibility of cheating
• Manila folders around monitors• Test Session Tickets – Form ID
– Seat students based on Form ID, A1, A2, A3, etc
• Pause Function/Inactivity―Students will have to re-login if they are on
Pause or show no activity for 15 minutes.―The original Test Session Ticket can be used
if it is within the 90 minute window from the initial login.

Test Security
• Secure Materials – All Test Session Tickets, Math Formula Sheets,
Glossary of Non-Mathematical Terms, and yellow scratch paper must be collected and destroyed after testing is completed.
• Test Security Assurance Form – Completed by all persons assisting with Online
Testing. This would include but is not limited to the following: • test proctors• office staff assisting with processing materials, etc.
– The completed form must be signed and submitted to the School/District Assessment Coordinator.
