Methodology Based on WAID inland data for 09-11 Aligns WAID fatal incident dataset with: - Participation - Deprivation (IMD) - Length of waterway datasets. Analysis identifies populations ‘at risk’ Awarded to GSB under contract
Categorisation Fatality rate above one in 10,000 is Very High Rate between one in 10,000 and one in 100,000 is High Rates between one in 100,000 and one in 250,000 are Moderate Rates between one in 250,000 and one in 500,000 are Low Rates between one in 500,000 and one in one million are Very Low Anything below one in one million is Negligible
