KEY1. Raised lawn to provide informal leisure, gathering and breakout space for the Metro and the community centre.

2. Bleacher terrace to elevate public domain from flood levels and provide informal seating with views across Cope Street and on to Waterloo Estate.

3. Upper metro plaza with cafe breakout space and community entrance to the Metro.

4. Skylights into below metro station.

5. Pedestrian link from Botany Road to Plaza.

8. Ulmus parvifolia to provide summer shade and winter sun across the Upper Metro Plaza.

FLEXIBLE SPACEThe Community Square maintains views to the Metro station entry from Cope Street and laneways. It provides a flexible space for potential community uses and provides active edges through breakout space along building facades.
