The school has had a face lift changing from a green colour scheme to our beautiful blue colour. Safety fences have been erected around the 14 demountables that will be removed soon. This will be a great relief as we have children in Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 who have never played on the infants playground. We look forward to their removal and returfing of the K-2 playground. We will install an irrigation system that will use bore water. This is a large investment. However, having beautiful grassed playing areas will benefit all Wauchope PS students for years to come. We are extremely close to securing a water licence for our school which has been a six-year project/mission and we have encountered many hurdles and red tape along the way to get to the position we are in now. We won’t start celebrating just yet but as soon as it is all confirmed there are a few local community members and an organisation I will be thanking on behalf of our students. We are close to ordering some amazing resources for our Safe Play area next to the Hub. I would encourage everyone to complete the Essential Energy grant as many times as possible to secure funds to make this space really special for our students. School Improvements

Over the past 15 weeks we have had a team of painters enhancing our school buildings and undercover walkways.

AssembliesOur Zoom assemblies continue to be good fun. Students are being rewarded weekly which has been nice. Recent assemblies have been run by KDB, 2LB and 3/4AD.

School Jumpers and JacketsPlease help us this winter keep your child warm by writing their names on their jumpers and school uniform so we may return it to them.
