School to Collect iPads Over Thanksgiving and December Break
The sixth- and seventh-grade teaching teams are
both enjoying and learning from the iPad program this
year. In an effort to balance screen time with family
time, we have decided that students will leave their
school-issued iPads at school over school vacations
beinning with Thanksgiving Break. Since it is our
policy not to assign homework over vacations,
students will not need to use their iPads for academic
purposes during that time.
Advisors will collect iPads on Tuesday, November 24 and return them to students
on Monday, November 30. If your child needs their iPad over vacation for any
school/academic-related purpose, please contact their advisor. Advisors will be in
touch if students are behind on academic work and need to get caught up over the
break.

Participants in the Cape Cod Mini Week Laboratory, March 1984
From an article written by Chris Carroll and Kevin Heffernan in The WaynfleteNews, Spring 1984, page 6, "The subject was a hands-on study of someenvironmental issues that have shaped the sandy peninsula into what it is today. We studied whaling and the whaling industry, land conservation, the Cape's marinebiological interests, and the interesting conflict between O.R.V. (off road vehicle)users and conservationists over the use of the beaches and dune lands."
