A non fluoride toothpaste does not offer as much protection as fluoridetoothpaste. The non fluoride stuff just moves germs around instead of getting rid of them.

Use a good mouthwash. People often forget to use mouthwash after brushing their teeth in themorning and evenings. Your mouth can stay fresh and clean after using mouthwash. There areplaces that floss and brushing just can't get to but mouthwash can. It can also help coat your teeth inan invisible bonding that helps protect the teeth against germs and bacteria. You will get betterprotection of your teeth and gums by using mouthwash, much better than if you just rinse foodtraces away with water. Act or Listerine are two good mouthwashes to invest in. Most dentistsrecommend Act.

Proper teeth care doesn't have to be complicated. Most of what you have to do is extremely easy. It

only takes some regular attention in the morning and at night, and your dentist will soon besurprised at how little there is for him to do. Yet ignoring these habits, or only doing them when youfeel like it, will prevent them from helping you. Your teeth and mouth are important enough towarrant some daily attention on your part. The healthier your mouth is, the healthier you'll be ingeneral, as the connection between dental health and overall health is now widely recognized bydoctors and dentists.
