Move at Home: Wacky Walks and Ways to Move Workout 2 • Step forwards with one leg into the lunge position. • Then bring the other leg forward into a standing position again. • Next, step forwards with the other leg into a lunge position and then move into standing and so on. • Use your arms to help with balance. Lunge Walk Crawl like a soldier, commando style! • Lie down on your tummy. • Move opposite limbs at the same time to pull yourself along the ground, e.g. right leg and left arm and left leg and right arm. • Keep your upper body upright but the rest of your body flat to the ground. • Move while dribbling with a ball at your feet. • Control the ball with lots of light taps, keeping it close to your feet. • Try to use the inside and outside of both feet. • Remember to look up! • Squat down on the ground and place both hands in front of you.

• Explosively jump up and forwards, landing in the same position that you started in.

• This exercise is great for your legs.

Frog Jump

• Hopscotch requires you to alternate between jumping and hopping.

• On the hop, try to alternate the foot you hop on each time, e.g. jump, hop on right foot, jump, hop on left foot, jump, hop on right foot and so on.

• This is, quite simply, skipping but backwards!

• Remember to look over your shoulder to see where you are going.

• This is a great whole-body workout, including your core!

• Sit on the floor and put your hands on the ground behind you.

• Lift your hips up off the ground so that you are on all fours but with your tummy facing upwards.

• Now try moving on your hands and feet.

• Can you move forwards, backwards and side to side?
