Sir,I am directed to convey the sanction of the President to the payment of

Rs.199,83,48'OOOI- (Rupees One Hundred Ninety Nine Crore Eighty Three Lakh &Forty Eight Thousand only) to the State Governments as indicated in column 3 againsteach as third installment of grant-in-aid during the year 2016-L7 for the continuedimplementation of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme:

2. The ICDS is Centrally Sponsored Scheme in which the Centre and States/UTs bothhave contributions. In the above release, the Centre contributions have been calculated on60:40 ratio and the sanction of funds is subject to the following conditions:

3. The sanction of funds is also contingent upon States/UTs ensuring e-procurement ofgoods and services under ICDS Scheme. The advisory in this regard has already been issuedto all States/UTs vide Circular No.l9-3712015-CD.I, dated 09.07.2015.

4. The expenditure is debitable to the '3601lGrants-in-aid to State Governments (MajorHead); O2-Grants for State Plan Schemes (Sub Major Head); 02.789-special Component Planfor Scheduled Castes (Minor Head); 24-Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS),24.00.31-Grants-in-aid General (Plan) under Demand No, 97 of the Ministry of Women &Child Development for the year2016-I7.

5. The amount of grant-in-aid is finally adjustable in the books of the Principal Pay andAccounts Office, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. Thepayment of the State would be arranged through the Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur. TheState Accountant Generals will send intimation regarding receipt of grant-in-aid to thePrincipal Pay & Accounts Office, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Shastri Bhawan,New Delhi.

6. The State/UT shall maintain separate accounts and furnish information on actualexpenditure incurred on ICDS (General) every quafter. The information on expenditure onICDS (General) from 1't April to 30th June must be furnished by 15th July and for the periodfrom l't July to 30th September by 15th October and from the period l't October to 31'tDecember by 15th January and from l't January to 31't March by 15th April to enable theMinistry to work out the entitlement of Central assistance of the State Government/UTAdministration.

7. This sanction issues with the concurrence of IFD videtheir Dy.No. CD-II-L419912015-CD.iI, dated 20.07. 2016.
