GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT NEWS:
Seniors:
FREE $$$$! Many new scholarship opportunities have been posted for seniors. Check out the listing on Naviance as well as the list of local scholarships and awards under the Guidance tab on the high school homepage.
Seniors are reminded to update their Naviance account when they receive college acceptance, wait‐list, or non-acceptance notification from colleges. Students must also indicate in Naviance where they plan to attend (once they make their decision) so that Guidance can send their final transcripts.
SENIOR PICNIC:
This year is quickly coming to an end. It is a tradition for the class advisors to host a picnic in honor of the senior class. This is a great time for students to sign yearbooks and reflect on the past four years. However, we need your help. We will provide all paper products, hot dogs, hamburgers, condiments, and rolls. We would appreciate it if you could donate a food or beverage item to ensure a successful picnic.
Please sign up for an item using the link ‐ https://tinyurl.com/WDSeniorPicnic2018. The picnic will take place on Thursday, June 14th from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Food items may be dropped off on the morning of the picnic. On behalf of the senior class and the class advisors, we thank you for your assistance and all of your support these past four years!
