The Worcester County Arts Council elected a new slate of offic-ers at the Annual Membership Meeting that was held on Sunday, June 10th at the Hotel Atlantic in Berlin. Former WCAC President, Jim Falcon, who was leading the Arts Council's Board of Directors since June of 2006, passed the torch to Carol Dorman, who served on the Board for many years, most recently as a Treasurer. Chris Welch, who has been serving as a Secretary, has been elected as Vice President. Rounding out the slate of elected officers are Monika Lilley who will continue serving her second term as Board Secretary, and Dorothy Shelton, who will be serving as Board Treasurer. Nancy Howard and Monika Lilley have been reelected for the next 3-year terms. New Board Directors, Brett Smith, Dick Jacobs, Holly Anderson, Carol Dorman, Pat Barrett, Marcy Snyder, Tamara Mills, Dorothy Shelton, and Davis Simpson have been elected for 3-year Board terms. Pictured below are the newly elected Board Directors: Dick Jacobs, Holly Anderson, Carol Dorman, Pat Barrett, Marcy Snyder, Tamara Mills, and Dorothy Shelton. Back row: David Simpson. "My service as your President for the past 3 years has been very satisfying", said Jim Falcon reflecting back on the memories of his Presidency. "Whatever I have been able to do could not have been done without the strong support of Anna Mullis, Carol Dor-man, and my wife, JoFran, and the good, hard-working commit-tee chairs with which I have been blessed. I am pleased to be turning the leadership of the Council over to Carol, who has many years of experience with the Council and who has a strong team of officers to support her."
