We Give Thanks

The Ten LepersLuke 17:11-19

Jesus and his friends were passing through Samaria and Galilee.

Ten men with leprosy stood at a distance. They called out to Jesus.

Jesus, Master, have pity on us!

Jesus felt compassion, looked at them and said,

Go show yourselves to the

priests

On their way they were cleansed.

One was a Samaritan man.

When he saw he was healed, he

returned to thank Jesus.

Jesus asked,

Weren’t ten men healed? Where are

the other nine? Why was this foreigner the

only one who came back to thank God?

Then Jesus spoke to the Samaritan man,

You may get up and go.

Your faith has made you well.

The Samaritan man went off to present himself to the priests.
