This Week at Tarago Public School
Principal’s Report
Dear Parents and Carers I am writing from our camp at Berry. The children are having a wonderful time meeting new friends and challenging them-selves with numerous sporting activities. Yesterday we completed a 6km walk up a massive hill to see the beautiful sights of the coast and the surrounding mountains. Needless to say every-one fell asleep early last night! This morning we are going canoeing so it should be fun. I would like to welcome back Mrs Beer to school. I know she is excited to be back on class and looking forward to teaching the K-2 class. Last weekend we had a massive clean up of the school grounds. Thank you so much to all the parents, children, teachers and volunteers who gave up their Sunday to help. The school looks so much better and I believe we nearly filled up the tip! We can actually see and use the cricket pitch and green house again! Miss Michelle Jones Principal

News from K-2 It is wonderful to be back at Tarago again. The children were excited to see the lovely new tables in our room. They have been participating in daily fitness with Miss Divall in the morning to get them ready for learning. This term we have a classroom play shop as we will be learning about money as part of our maths program. K-2 will learn about growing things/plants and animals in Science and will be doing some gardening this term. As the weather warms up it is important the children drink plenty of water. They will be able to bring drink bottles into the classroom and have a drink when necessary. We hope 3-6 have had a great time at camp this week.

Hats in Term 4
The weather is getting
hotter and the sun quite
strong. This term our no
hat, play in the COLA
policy is in force. This
means students who do
not have a broad
brimmed hat will be
required to play in the
COLA. This provides
students an excellent
shaded alternative play
area. School hats are
available at office for
$12.00.

P&C NEED YOUR HELP – FUNDRAISING DAY! The P&C are catering and running the canteen for the next Tarago Markets on 30th November.
We need volunteers for the day - On the BBQ In the kitchen cleaning dishes Serving food and handling money Donations of cakes/biscuits/slices/scones/gluten free options – any and all baked goods would be greatly appreciated – these items can be left at the school Friday 29th November for collection
More hands make light work! Catering the markets will be a big day so any help we can get will be fantas-
tic. This is a great fundraiser for the P&C and the money raised will ensure that we can continue to put money towards costs of future camps, buses, projects etc.
For more information or to put your name down as a volunteer please contact our President
