Every day Baruch journalism students
intern with magazines, online publications,
radio and television outlets, and print
newspapers that provide students with
exciting, real-world media experience and
opportunities to report, write, and appear
before the camera and on radio.
These internships have maximum impact
on students’ future. More than making
coffee or photocopies, competitive intern-
ships offer Baruch’s students the chance
to develop marketable skills, establish a
network of contacts, and demonstrate that
they can add value to an organization.
And Baruch College journalism students
aren’t the only undergrads with these
opportu nities, which cross all majors
and schools.

nerBaruch students are famous for juggling
school, a social life, and sometimes an internship or part-time job. So what’s smarter than a technology that eases academic and social interaction for time- pressed students? And it doesn’t hurt that it’s cool.
ooVoo lets as many as 12 participants text chat, record video calls, and file share on video calls anywhere, anytime, across platforms.
Using a PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, or Android device, students can complete group assignments or study together, meet faculty for virtual office hours, and attend career counseling sessions off site.
