Susan HayesCulleton, known as ‘The Positive Economist’ presented her ‘top ten tips on how to take control of your finances’ so that you are poised and ready to capitalise on opportunities. Her advice to the business women of Cavan is that it is now time to take a different approach, rather than focusing on cost reduction, business people now need to build their margins back up again; consider expansion and growth rather than downsizing

Surviving the Dragons Our CBWC member Michelle Rudden of Funky Crayons gave a very heartfelt and entertaining talk about her time on RTE’s Dragons Den.
And as ever, the always positive Michelle told that although she did not get financial support from the Dragons, she gained invaluable advice and an unforgettable experience that she said will definitely help her in her business.

We had a full house in the Radisson Blu Farnham Estate Hotel for our April 20th Meeting. Thank you to our speakers, exhibitors, the hotel staff and of course Local Enterprise Office Cavan for the support of the CBWC.
