FIRST INTERSTATE BANK CENTERThe First Interstate Bank Center, a multi-purpose indoor arena, is our largest building and constitutes 279,000 square feet of space under one roof. It can handle 7,800 people for a concert, 4,000 for rodeos, and 5,000 for basketball; the building is capable of hosting virtually any kind of performance. While the performance aspect of the building is a very noticeable feature, the event center has over 40,000 square feet of concrete floor space and over 28,250 square feet of space on a circular concourse. Large concession stands are placed on each end of the building and all public entrances contain ticket booths. The event center is wired for television broadcast, complete with satellite hookup and intercom connection. It has a built-in sound system capable of handling multiple microphones, playing CDs and tapes, and supporting numerous other pieces of sound equipment on a 23-channel mixing console. The building boasts a score clock for sports, a hidden conduit for broadcast cable, and over 800 amps of power. In addition, overhead beams are capable of supporting approximately 75,000 pounds of sound and light equipment to “fly” the show when required.

EQUESTRIAN & LIVESTOCK COMPLEXFive well-designed barns are at the heart of the Deschutes Fair and Expo equestrian and livestock complex. Four barns are completely enclosed and one barn is covered. All barns are designed for multi-purpose use with blacktop flooring. Barns are equipped with drop-down electric plugs and plumbed with water for livestock. A total of 400 10x10 stalls, of which 75 are permanent and 325 portable, can be placed in the barns.

JUNIPER ARENAWhether staging a concert, motorsport, equestrian show, livestock sale, or pro-rodeo, the Juniper Arena is the perfect location to make your event a Gold Star attraction. The arena offers covered grandstand seating for 2,500 with bleacher seating for 1,000. Arena lighting makes the venue perfect for day or night events. The arena is entirely fenced for additional event security, with ticket booths at the entrance. Additional features include on-site concessions and restrooms. This multi-purpose arena is rodeo ready with permanent roping boxes, pens, and bucking chutes.

SAGEBRUSH ARENAThe Sagebrush Arena is fully covered for

year-round equestrian/livestock use. Located directly behind the First

Interstate Bank Center, Sagebrush is the perfect companion/warm-up location to Juniper.

THREE SISTERS CONFERENCE CENTERThree main halls named after three beautiful mountains. With 34,000 square feet of meeting space, surrounded by 10 breakout rooms, the Three Sisters Conference Center can accommodate almost any size event while staying functional.

NORTH SISTER measures 9,416 square feet. Surrounding the North Sister are three breakout rooms; Ochoco, Haystack, and Odell; that can be configured in a variety of set-ups, from a 19’x29’ area to a 19’x69’ setting. The North Sister features power, telephone, and data connection in the floor on 20-foot squares. Built-in audio/visual, and Wi-Fi. MIDDLE SISTER is the largest conference hall and measures 14,904 square feet. Surrounding the Middle Sister are four breakout rooms; East Lake, Elk, Eileen, and Doris; that can be configured in a variety of set-ups, from a 19’x24’ area to a 19’x78’ setting. The Middle Sister features carpeting, power, telephone, and data connection in the floor. Built-in audio/visual, and Wi-Fi.

SOUTH SISTER is adjoined by a hallway to Middle Sister and measures 9,416 square feet. Surrounding the South Sister are three breakout rooms; Tumalo, Sparks, and Lava; that can be configured in a variety of set-ups, from a 19’x27’ area to a 19’x54’ area. The South Sister features power, telephone, and data connection in the floor on 20-foot squares. Built-in audio/visual, and Wi-Fi.

CATERING & CONCESSIONSOn-site catering and concessions are provided to ensure exceptional quality and a dedication to excellence for all events. Within the Three Sisters Conference Center is our 5,000 square foot kitchen designed to handle multiple catering and concession events in or out of the main conference halls. It has ample storage space, quick-freeze ability, ice

making capability, state-of-the-art cooking appliances, and support staff dedicated to the highest standards of service.

We offer portable concession stands and locations are customized for each event. Don’t forget our banquet halls! They range in size from 9,416 to 40,000 square feet and are able to

accommodate groups from 25-2,000 for a meal function. Alcohol service is exclusively provided by Deschutes Fair and Expo and we have the option to work with you on what you’d like to serve. Call us, we’re happy to create a custom menu for you to suit your taste buds and your budget.
