According to Anadolu Agency correspondents in Jordan, displaced Syrians have flocked to the border but the Jordanian authorities have not allowed them to enter... According to TurkStat, exports to the 28-member EU bloc account for some 51.4 percent of Turkey’s overall exports in the five-month period -- totaling $35.6 billion -- while imports from the EU were $39 billion, up 22 percent on a yearly basis. Over the same period, Turkey’s overall exports totaled $69.3 billion, a 7.9 percent annual hike, and imports reached $104.5 billion with a 17.2 percent increase. Turkish Armed Forces said in a press release on Friday that 4,513 terrorists have been neutralized since Jan. 20. Turkish authorities often use the word “neutralized” in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question were either killed, captured or surrendered. The statement also said 56 PKK terrorists were neutralized during operations undertaken between June 22 and 28 across Turkey and northern Iraq. During these operations four Turkish soldiers were martyred and six others injured. The Union of Turkish Municipalities (TBB) handed over the three buses in a ceremony attended by Turkey’s Consul in Mostar Zerrin Kandemir, Mostar Mayor Ljubo Beslic, TBB Secretary-General Hayrettin Gungor, and Damir Maric, CEO of the Mostar Bus Company. Kandemir told the ceremony that the buses are a symbol of the good relations between Bosnia- Herzegovina and Turkey. She added that Turkey supports Bosnia’s stability and growing relations between the two countries. Beslic said the donation would bolster the already- strong ties between the two countries, adding that there are many opportunities to develop business alliances between the two...
