    Barber pole

A thnderstorm pdraft with a !isal appearance inclding clod striations that arecr!ed in a manner similar to the stripes of a barber pole. The strctre t+picall+ ismost prononced on the leading edge of the pdraft, while drier air from the rear7an- downdraft often erodes the clods on the trailing side of the pdraft.
