♦ This was my first weaving class. I have found this experience to be extremely fulfilling in a spiritually connected sense.
♦ I’ve been weaving since 1996 keeping our tradition going because it was becoming a dying art.

Northwest Indian College is hosting the 13th annual Weavers Teaching Weavers Gathering. The purpose of this event is to allow experienced Native American weavers age 14+ to come together to learn from one another and to share their techniques. Elaine Grinnell, weaver, storyteller, elder from Jamestown S’Klallam will be sharing her collection of stories throughout the day.
