ABOUT BRAINSTATION

The Web Development Program

The BrainStation Web Development Full-time program introduces all

of the skills and technologies required to produce a modern web

application. It’s an intensive, collaborative and rewarding learning

experience where no two days are the same, and where students

apply their learning in real-time through project-based work.

Throughout the 10 weeks, students will learn cutting-edge

technologies based off of an adaptive curriculum that

reflects industry standards. The program features classes during the

day divided into lectures and labs. Students learn the fundamentals of

web and programming languages and through a series of projects,

work their way towards building fully functional web applications. This

ensures they will leave the program armed with the skills and tools

needed to navigate and succeed in the real-world.

Learning Portal

The BrainStation Learning Portal offers a unique learning

experience like no other. The digital classroom is designed

to facilitate interaction between students and Educators,

providing opportunities to engage with peers, ask for help,

and test students’ knowledge.

Students have the opportunity to provide feedback on

comprehension of course readings and assignments. This

gives Educators a sense of students’ comfort level with the

material, allowing them to plan lesson delivery accordingly.

This ensures they grasp the content and leave the course

feeling comfortable with the material they learned over the

course of the 10 weeks.

The Web Development Program

Our Educators are dedicated to helping students succeed, and will

provide them with the guidance and structure they need. The

programs are fast-paced and challenging, and our Educators and

Support Team are there to make students’ experiences as

rewarding and engaging as possible.

Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse

group of classmates who bring their unique experience to group

work, and work on hands-on projects that will help them solve

real-world problems.

Student Life

The BrainStation student body is multi-disciplinary, giving

students the unique opportunity to learn and collaborate

with like-minded classmates from different backgrounds

around the world.

Full-time students gain access to a host of networking and

further learning opportunities such as: our Demo Day Grad

Portfolio Showcase, Techfest, Fireside Chats with industry

leaders, etc. These events are a great opportunity to

network with the local tech and startup community.

From day one, Educators work with students to build out a

comprehensive portfolio that showcases their hard work

and newfound skills to potential employers.

BrainStation admits the highest calibre of students who seek a

rigorous and immersive learning experience and thrive in a fast-paced

and challenging environment. These individuals are passionate about

learning and investing in their career potential, and aim to make an

impact in the technology space as UX/UI Designers,

front-end/back-end Web Developers and Product Managers.

While Toronto, Canada is where you can trace our humble

beginnings, we have always had ambitious goals. In 2016 alone,

we trained more than 20,000 Canadians as well as companies like

Google, Telus, LCBO, Scotiabank and Uber in various digital topics.

The diversity of content that we teach and the various learning styles

of our students has allowed us to refine our educational model to

become global leaders in technology training.

By 2025, BrainStation will have innovation hubs in major cities

worldwide and will have educated young minds, powerful politicians,

fortune 500 CEOs and the next wave of disruptive startup founders
