Dalhousie University Rowing Club – Training Camp 2019 Tentative Schedule: Saturday, August 31st: 9:30am - 12:30pm (Team Orientation & Rowing) Sunday, September 1st: 9:30am - 12:30pm (Erging, Rowing, & Post- Training Activity) Monday, September 2nd: 9:30am - 12:30pm (Rowing, Team Building, & Lunch) Location: All sessions will be held at Mic Mac AAC on Lake Banook, Dartmouth. While training camp is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged for everyone to attend, even if you are planning on joining Junior Varsity.

Dalhousie University Rowing Club – Training Camp 2019

Tentative Schedule:

Transportation:

We will be organizing transportation to and from training camp for anyone who is in need. Please register for training camp as soon as possible, transportation will be organized closer to the training camp weekend once we know how many attendees there will be. Please keep an eye on your email or the Dalhousie Rowing 2019-2020 Facebook page for the transportation update. If you are not already a part of the Facebook page, please join to keep up to date with announcements!

What to Bring:

Water Bottle (water bottles can be filled up at the boathouse) Sock/Mitten to put around your water bottle (the sock or mitten prevents your water bottle from rolling around in the boat and damaging the hull, you will not be permitted to bring your water bottle in the boat if you do not have something to wrap around it) Lunch for Saturday & Sunday (we will be providing lunch on Monday, dietary concerns and menu will be discussed on the first day of training camp) Snacks Running shoes & socks Appropriate athletic clothing, dress for the weather!! (we will be going out in the water whether it is raining or bright and sunny) Change of clothes (optional) Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses A positive attitude!

Rowing Canada Aviron website and select “join a program”.

2. Select Nova Scotia as the province and Mic Mac Amateur Aquatic Club as the organization. This will provide you with the appropriate list of programs.

3. Select the 2019 University Varsity Training Camp.

4. Create an account or log in to add a payment and complete your registration. You should receive a confirmation email after your payment has been successfully processed. **Reminder- you must register online for training camp prior to being able to participate. We hope to see you there!
