6.1 Availability of adequate, well-equipped classrooms to meet the curriculum requirements (10)

Adequate number of class rooms is available for conducting of lectures and tutorials. The class rooms operate on a shared basis for theory and tutorials. Conventional black boards are provided in every class. Classrooms are spacious enough to accommodate 60 students and are well furnished and ensure proper circulation of fresh air and light. State of the art seminar halls are available which are made use for conducting lecture talks by eminent persons from industry and academia.

Periodic maintenance of all the equipment’s and instruments are carried out to ensure proper functioning of them. The ambience of all the Laboratories is good for carrying out the experiments as per the curriculum

Maintenance of Laboratory Equipment’s

Regular checkup of equipment is carried out as and when required and also before starting of laboratory exams every semester.

Maintenance register is maintained in the laboratories.

As per requirement minor repairs are carried out by the lab instructor.

Each laboratory maintains a Stock register detailing the equipment history within it.

One Teaching faculty and a Lab instructor are in-charge of the overall functioning/maintenance of each lab.
