Develop our drawing skills.Build an understanding of the importance of planning out a story plot. Starter: Knowledge recap - What do you already know about colour? Task 1: Understanding user needsList as many ideas you can think ofto help maintain a toddler’s focus when reading. – answers on following slide Task 2: Mind Mapping IdeasCreate a mind map to explore your idea for the “plot”, characters and setting. Task3: Story BoardNow, look over your mind map and write down your best ideas. This will help you to begin creating a rough outline of your story. Use the photos of example books to help you! be presented on paper or on the computer. If on paper remember to photograph your work. If on the computer it could be presented on powerpoint. The tasks are: Task 1: This week you need to ensure that you have completed AC2.3 with nutritional analysis. If you think you have completed AC2.3, read through the powerpoint and check what else you can add in to improve your work and re send to your teacher. Double check with your teacher if you are unsure.

You need to complete a rough draft of AC2.4 is to be emailed by 16/4/21 Read through the information on the PPT.  This can be presented on paper or on the computer. If on paper remember to photograph your work. If on the computer it could be presented on powerpoint. The tasks are:  Production Plan of Making Guidance.  This is where you choose 2 dishes from the 4 you have done on the previous page (2.3 consumer needs). You need to explain how to make the dish, the timings of each stage and then health and safety and quality control points. You can also add other columns such as ingredients used at each stage and the measurements There is an example of how you can possibly lay it out, Your time plan needs to be broken down into 3 sections

Timing Method Special points and contingencies

Remember that timings are only a guide, however try and get away from using points over 5 minutes.This allows you to focus on the smaller details. When you’re not preparing or cooking food you should be cleaning. Look at the skills you are demonstrating and highlight these as well as the contingency task you have in place. Do this for as many points as possible.Could you alter the cookery methods to save on time? Can you make the dish healthier?How would you cook this dish in higher volumes?What would you do if you didn’t have a certain piece of equipment? How would you adapt the recipe?

How did you create photographs in Mo Devlin’s unique style? What props were needed in order to complete a successful photoshoot? How were your photographs successful and what would you improve? Did you edit your photographs, if so; how did you do this? Pixlr? Camera tools? Discuss lighting, composition and camera angles.

GCSE Art A sense of place – New project

In this project you will begin by considering your local area, where you live and what it means to be ‘home’.To begin you will research and create a mind map about the theme of ‘a sense of place’. You will then research several contemporary and historical artists from Yorkshire.You will take photographs or your local area and local landmarks, also areas that are sometimes overlooked. You will work in a range of media and present your own responses that reflect your understanding of the theme ‘a sense of place’.
