General InformationThis release replaces all previous major, minor and emergency releases. All changes included in a major release will also be included in a minor release. There is no downtime needed to install a release unless specifically mentioned in the Trust Implementation Issues section. All sites can be upgraded to this release of CRIS. No changes are included in a release until the change passes all tests and that change has no known issues or has caused any new known issues at the time of release. Each release of CRIS is not normally released with any known major issues unless specifically mentioned in the know issues section.

4. Change DetailsThis section provides further details of each change.

HEAD refers to the development and unreleased testing versions of CRIS. Changes reported in HEAD are either new features not in any previous version of CRIS or issues that have only been introduced or discovered during development or testing of the next release of CRIS. Issues reported in a particular release, HEAD or otherwise, may also be pertinent to other releases of CRIS.

4.1 Audit

Description: CRIS needs to be able to produce a report of failed logon attempts and possible security breaches.Resolution: The logon attempts can now be output in stats. There is a new stat specifically to output the failed log on attempts between certain dates. The stat is RIS_STAT255: Failed Logon Attempts, and the date, time, failure reason and user ID's are output on this stat. There is also a total of user ID's and how many times each one failed.

Description: A Null Pointer Exception is generated when editing the Insurer Details in the Billing tab of the Patient Details screen. This is because the Exam Cost Policy has a blank Cost Insurer field.Resolution: The possibility of using a legacy exam cost policy, where no Insurer has been assigned, is now handled correctly whenever a patient insurance policy is created or amended.

Amendments have been added to both Rowthorne and 02.07.12d releases.

Need to be able edit the exam cost header so that incorrect details can be amended and fields like insurer can be added.Resolution: From within the 'ExamCost' setup table, whenever a 'Examination Cost Code' is chosen, an 'Edit Cost Code' button is enabled. When the user selects this button a dialog appears allowing the user to amend the chosen 'Exam Cost Code' details, and save the changes to the database.

Description: We need to add a new column of DEFAULT_JOIN to the statlinks table. It needs to be not null, varchar2(2), with a default value of '='. Triggers amended to query the context for the terminal identifier. This means that all logged data changes now include the PC terminal ID to identify where the change was done.

Description: The generic partition management script has a retention parameter but has never actually had that part of the code developed. This now needs resolving.Resolution: Procedure now removes all partitions outside of a range set by the parameter inRetentionPeriod. This parameter defaults to 999 and cannot be set lower than 6, therefore partitions are kept a minimum of 6 months and up to 83 years.

Procedure has also been renamed to MaintainPartitions to better represent its purpose.

211739 - Error in LoadRecord java.sql.SQLException: Exhausted Resultset output to the Java Console - ONLYReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12b Resolved by: mcarter (Mick Carter)

Description: ExhaustedResultset error is output to the Java Console (not in the application) when adding an event to the Diary using the Add to Diary function in Event Details. This places the event on the scratchpad. Selecting the entry on the Scratch Pad and pressing Send displays the Event Details screen and the error is output in the console.Resolution: In the diary, when send is pressed on an event yet to be created, CRIS will refrain from loading the event from the event table in the database. An event that is not yet created would be an event that has been sent straight to the diary from the event detail screen and has no status history.

Description: If a multi exam appointment is added to the diary, and one of the exams is dragged to an appointment slot but the other isn't, when the exam that has been dragged is selected in the slot, a message appears informing that the other exam on the appointment has moved, when it actually has not yet even been made.Resolution: When a multi exam event is added directly to the diary, and an appointment has been made for only one of the exams, reselecting the exam from the slot it is booked into, will not warn that the other exam on the event has moved.

On pressing OK on the message the exam is moved to the specified time slot and out of view and the amended time remains displayed in the exam Time field. This should not happen. On pressing Refresh the exam is moved back to the original time slot but the exam Time field is not set back to what it was originally until the exam is selected in the room slot.Resolution: When using the exam detail panel on the diary it should not update the exam time slot if the time slot is not valid

Description: When using the appointment diary it is supposed to automatically display the rooms appropriate for the examination selected. Description: The changed Appointments scratch pad should list all appointments that have been changed in the diary since the scratch pad was cleared. It is also wrongly showing all appointments that have been selected but not changed on the diary.Resolution: When selecting an appointment that is booked in the diary, from the diary view, the appointment no longer gets added to the changed pad. Now only when the appointment has changed does it get added to the changed pad.

209390 - Available slots when appointment has been stretched.Reported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: When booking an appointment, the slots are unavailable where they would not leave enough time to complete the exam before the next appointment, or before the room slot restrictions prevent the exam from taking place. This time is taken from the default set up for the exam however. Once the exam has been booked and stretched to a different time, the unavailable slots don't relate to the length of time of the exam, they still relate to the default from the exam configuration.Resolution: When an exam has been stretched in the diary to make it longer or shorter than the default, the available slots are applicable to its actual length of time taken, rather than the default length of time taken from the exam configuration tables.



210989 - Double clicking or pressing enter in room or exam code field in diary will insert extra line, which stop appointment saving.Reported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: gglover (Gary Glover)

Description: Using the F4 prompt to select a new room code for an exam in the diary causes a new exam row to be added. This subsequently causes a warning message to be displayed when pressing save.Resolution: From within the 'Exam details' panel (Code, Exam, Status, Room,etc), the only way to create a new exam (row) is to enter 'return' when you are in the 'Time' field of the previous exam (row). Double-clicking on any field and double-clicking a displayed option, will not now create another row.

210816 - Saving typed changes in appointment diaryReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: The ability to type and save changes to the fields displayed for the event and exam on the appointment diary in the bottom right section does not work if you have the XR setting GENERAL.ForceReloadOnListSelect turned on.Resolution: It is now possible to make changes to appointments, using the exam and event details section at the bottom of the diary, followed by pressing the "Save" button, even when the XR setting GENERAL.ForceReloadOnListSelect is turned on. Numerous fields displayed on the page previously could not be altered in such a way, now all fields displayed can be changed in like this.

Description: It is possible to book an appointment into a room which has been end-dated.Resolution: Rooms that are end dated no longer show up in the diary past the date of their end date, even when they still have examinations configured to be allowed in them, according to the exams per hospital set up table.

Once the current date has passed a rooms end date, that room is no longer available to be selected in the exams per hospital table.Incident No. FJ 270911

Description: When trying to change a request event to an appointment in direct appointment mode by filling in the room, date and time and pressing appointment the user gets an error message saying "Unable to save appointment. No diaries have been setup" even though they have been setup. If the user creates the appointment as a new event or uses the diary drag and drop method then the appointment is booked with no errors.Resolution: When turning a request or waiting list event into an appointment using direct appointment mode, if the user did not change the date for the appointment, the current event date at that point would be used, which is 01/01/2099 even though this date is not displayed to the user. This meant that the appointment could not be made as the diaries were not set up for this invalid date. Now if the user does not change the date when making the appointment from a request or waiting list, today's date is used to attempt to make the appointment. This problem did not affect booking an appointment using drag and drop on the diary.

Description: If a user tries to delete a dictation for an event using the right click menu on the event list then CRIS will delete the dictation record regardless of whether it could actually delete the dictation audio file. The audio file might not be deletable for many reasons such as permissions, it not existing or it is on a different trusts FTP server.Resolution: CRIS will only delete the dictation row in the database if the FTP deletion has been successful or if the FTP deletion has failed because the remote file has been deleted in which case the user must confirm that they wish to delete the relevant database row. In addition to this if the file cannot be deleted for permissions reasons the user is informed of this with a pop-up warning message.

Description: If a user has opened a dictation and locked it, it can be deleted by another user in the meantime. When the user who opened it first then tries to save the dictation, a message is displayed informing that it has been deleted and cannot be saved. This could be very annoying for a user if they have done a long dictation only to find they can't save it and have to do it again. There should be an option when the message pops up, to recreate the dictation as a new one.Resolution: If a dictation is deleted whilst one user has it locked, when the user who locked the dictation attempts to finish it, they are now presented with a message asked them if they want to recreate the dictation for the event as it has been deleted by someone. Previously the user had to clear the patient and start the dictation from scratch once more.

Description: If a report or dictation already exists and the dictation is not dictated by you the dictation page should be displayed in safe mode. Safe mode should allow the user to listen to the dictation but not edit it. The dictation should not be marked as locked when loading it in safe mode.

An edit button is required to take the user out of safe mode. CRIS should check that the dictation is not locked when the edit button is pressed.

The text on the finished button should be changed to close when in safe mode or save when in normal mode.Resolution: Dictations that are non zero in length will be opened in passive mode, the dictation cannot be edited until the user has pressed the Edit button. New dictations are always opened in 'edit mode'.

Currently a message is displayed informing that the dictation could not be found it is locked and has not yet been saved.Resolution: When attempting to delete a dictation using the right click on an event list, and the dictation or report is currently locked, a message is displayed informing the user that deleting the dictation may cause other user's problems. This message is in additional to the standard confirmation to delete the dictation.

The same is also true in that the 2nd radiologist and museum code cannot be changed on external dictations.Resolution: Dictation status and other fields may now be saved by updating the field and using the External Dict. button.

Description: When you select an order for a site other than where you are logged on and turn it into a CRIS event then the site of the event is the same as that on the order. Some sites would find it useful if CRIS changed the site on the event to be the user's current site rather than what was on the order. This is so that sites where their order comms system can only allocate a single fixed site code for all orders sent to CRIS can more easily create CRIS events from orders for all sites in the trust.Resolution: A warning message informing that the order is not for the current site is displayed when turning an order into an event, but only when the order is for a different site to the current one. Confirming the message will continue and turn the order into an event for the current site, declining the message will leave the event as an order status.

A similar confirmation is also required when right clicking on an order and choosing to link to an existing exam, where the site of the existing exam is not the same as the site of the order. Confirming the message will continue and link the order to the exam, declining will not link the order.

Description: An issue was recently resolved where the site of an event was being changed when the event status changed, and this was causing data integrity constraint errors in some circumstances. It was decided that the event site should not change when the status of an event changed, however this change has had some adverse effects, as sites had been using the fact that the site changed as part of their normal workflow. This change needs reverting and a warning message should be displayed informing that the site is going to change when appropriate.Resolution: When changing the status of an event, the site code now changes to be the site the current terminal is situated at. If there are any rooms assigned to the event when changing the status to a request or to a waiting list, a confirmation message will be displayed asking the user if they are sure they wish to change the event site and that the rooms assigned to the exams will be removed if they continue.

Description: If an event changes status to a waiting list or request status, the site of the event gets changed from the current event site, to the site of the current terminal. This can cause issues if there are any exams with rooms set against them (which can happen if it was an appointment that was cancelled), as integrity constraints are thrown and displayed to the user due to the room not existing at the current terminals site. This can leave the event in an inconsistent state, where it shows on a different sites lists, to the one that gets displayed against the event in the event lists.Resolution: When changing an event to be a request status, or a waiting list status, the site of the event is no longer changed to be the current site. Instead it remains as the current site of the event. The site of the event will now only change to be the current site when attending the event, or making an appointment for the current site using the diary.

Description: It is possible to get an integrity constraint error when trying to attend an event for a different site. Whilst the error message is unclear why, it is useful, as it stops the user attending events at different sites. The best way to handle this however, would be to disallow the attending of the event upon pressing the "Attend" button, with a message informing the user that they cannot attend appointments that are for a different site.Resolution: It is no longer possible to attend events currently at a different site to the current one, if they have a room filled in one of the exams. This is because the room may not exist at the current site. When attempting to do this from a request or waiting list status, it is possible to blank the room out of the exams and then attend the event.

If the event is an appointment that has been made at one site, it is now not possible to attend the appointment at a different site.



There is a security setting of RECEPTION, ATTEND_EXTERNAL which when set to Y will override the attending of appointments at a different site, however the check that the room code is blank will still exist.

Description: There is a security setting of APPOINT, APPT_DNA which needs to be set to Y before the undo attend option is available from the right click on the event list. The security is not applied to the undo attend button from the event details page however, so the user can select change, and then undo attend, instead of doing it by right clicking on the event list.Resolution: The security setting GENERAL.STATUS_DNA now controls the user's ability to undo an attendance from both the event list and event details page.

Description: When assigning a room to an exam, the end date is checked so rooms that are end dated before today, cannot be entered. Description: When an event is moved from the 'Active Volumes' folder to the 'Events Not in a Volume' folder; the event is displayed twice. When the patient's details are cleared and reloaded the event is only displayed once.Resolution: When moving an event to the event not in a volume folder, or to a volume which has not been opened in the move films screen, the event only appears in the list of events once, when the folder has been opened.

Description: Although it is not an expected scenario, receiving a null merge id in the MRG segment (i.e. MRG|^^^NACS^MR instead of MRG|1234^^^NACS^MR) can cause the interfaces to search for a null value in the HIS table. This can be very inefficient, and cause full table scans in Oracle.Resolution: After parsing merge message, patient identifiers are checked. If either patient identifier is null an exception is thrown and the message is failed.

Description: The interfaces currently get the spine configuration from the EJBSERVER XRT. These settings are then applied system wide in the interfaces. We need to be able to allow trust level spine configuration on the interfaces.Resolution: Whether PDS or LR's are turned on in the interface can now be defined at a trust level, using the service.xml configuration files, rather than having to rely on the system wide EJBSERVER format.

The properties PDSActive and LRConfirm need to be set to true to turn them on. LRConfirm being set to True implies that the interfaces are to create the LR's, however this can be turned off by stating LRCreate is false in the same .xml trust config files.

4.9 Login

Description: Occasionally when users log in they get an error message "Could not load radiologists" "null" When this happens they cannot use CRIS properly and have to shut down CRIS.



This is due to the previous user having a problem when they logged out that caused them to fail to save their user preferences.Resolution: Original reported problem is no longer repeatable, however there was a resolved issue with saving user preferences which has also fixed this issue.

This is a small change pending a larger redesign of the Nuclear Medicine module to better suit users needs.

4.12 Other

Description: At Glasgow they have 7500 users.

When trying to return a specific user, we iterate through each record in a cached version of the table until we find the one we are looking for.

They also have a large number of stats, and the result of finding the user name for a stat is not cached, so the above iteration is done each time we need to find the information.

This can significantly slow things down.

There are probably other things we can do in order to improve the accessing of staff members, there is no database access being performed, but a more indexed data structure may be better for storing the users, and caching the user name in the required places specifically in stats may also improve things.

The getStaffMember function is used throughout the system and may affect other thingsResolution: Getting a specific staff member is now more efficient as an indexed data structure is used to access the data. This has improved the speed of searching for a staff member, when



there are a large number of users on the system.

In addition to this the stats module now also caches the owner name of the stat, rather than having to find it out from the user ID each time it is required.

214670 - Image zooming for request cards using the mouse drag is initially slow.Reported in: 06.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12c Resolved by: mwarren (Mark Warren)

Description: When an image is viewed in CRIS and is zoomed using the mouse drag left or right, it is initially quite a slow and jerky zoom rate. After the image has been rotated the zoom is much faster.Resolution: Image zooming now works at correct speed when image is first loaded.

Description: On closing a dialog box with a null parent when there are multiple CRIS windows open, the JVM does not know which window to refocus and the wrong window is raised.Resolution: When using Java 1.6, the focus now behaves the same as when using Java 1.5, in such instances where a dialogue screen is displayed. When the dialogue is actioned the last



active window is reselected, rather than the last window that was opened by the user. Previously Java 1.6 would put the focus in the last opened window, instead of the current window, when a dialogue's parent component was not specified.

Description: When the system property "workstationport" is blank, starting a new JVM and instance of CRIS should connect to the existing CRIS and spawn a new window. However this feature appears to be broken as only a blank zero sized window is created.Resolution: When the workstationport property is blank, or a number greater than zero, when a second instance of CRIS is attempted to be started, a new CRIS main screen will be displayed, without the currently logged in user having to log in again. If the workstationport property is set to 0, a new login screen will be displayed when the second instance of CRIS is attempted to be started.

Description: Some lists that have numerical columns are sorted alphabetically rather than numerically when the column header is pressed.Resolution: The tables that show numbers previously usually used primitive types int, float or long for numbers. These now get converted into the Objects Integer, Long, and Float, which allow for proper numerical sorting, rather than the string sorting that Java performs on primitive types when the column header is pressed.

Therefore 2 request card images on the same event will get numbers of 1 and 2, but if there is also a referrer type image, that will get a number of 1.

When a patient displayed in blue text on a yellow background is selected the correct CRIS details will be displayed in the demographic details.

Description: There is an XR setting that allows CRIS to continue with the remaining name searches even after an exact match has been found. The name of the referrer also gets updated when it is selected from the referrer search screen.

Description: CRIS uses a field called alias number in the PATIENT table to identify merged patients. The alias_number field defaults to null when a patient is created. When a patient is merged it is given the value of the merged to CRIS computer number until a merge event occurs. If the patient is unmerged this is reset to 0 as opposed to null. For consistency the value should be the same in both cases.



Resolution: Unmerging a patient will now set the alias number to null.

209352 - Adding a CHI number to a patient record does not produce a HL7 update message.Reported in: 06.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: cturner (chris turner)

Description: If a patient is created without a CHI number, and an event created and attended, the interface sets the CRIS number as a temporary CHI. When a CHI number is then added to that record an update to PACS/DMWL is not produced. It is necessary to either make another change to the demographics or post process in order to force an update.Resolution: Added chinumberchanged to the set of conditions for deciding if an interface update message should be generated.

Description: Scottish sites use CHI numbers instead of NHS numbers. The warning displayed when prompting the user to merge a patient when the demographics are significantly different mentions NHS number even when it is no relevant.Resolution: The merge warning message now displays the CHI number information if it is present. The confirmation of the merge also now informs that the CHI numbers are different when they are. The warning message will always display both NHS number and CHI numbers differences if there are any between the two patients. Only if the numbers are not filled in will the information not be displayed.

Description: If you add a CHI number to a patient and then realise the wrong CHI has been used, you cannot delete the CHI number, you can only edit it to be another valid CHI number.Resolution: It is now possible to delete a patient's CHI number. Changing these fields should not trigger the interfaces to send demographic update messages.

These include 1. printed output 2. patient merge differences warning 3. PDS tracing differences warning 4. stats moduleResolution: Stats now handles the restricted details of patients when the user running the stat does not have permission to view the restricted details. These restricted details are also no longer shown on the merge patients, and PDS tracing messages that pop up, when the two patients have very different details. In all cases the word "Restricted" is displayed instead of the patient information.

Changes have been made to the printing system to not print restricted patient details. However, some formats will need to be updated for this to be effective. These include: Label set 9, the Salisbury obstetric report, the custom DEXA report, report set 2, the Exam summary printable, and the BMI report.

As formats are not updated with new CRIS versions, sites using these formats will have to specifically request these updated formats.Trust Implementation Issues: Sites using affected formats will have to specifically request these updated formats.

The second radiologist then modifies and verifies the report again ignoring another warning that the report has been modified by someone else. This second save has wrongly removed the verified by code.Resolution: With two CRIS applications (not two instances on the same PC) running and two different radiologists trying to verify the same report, the report in question is now updated from the database prior to verification. Also the database is amended correctly, showing the correct 'verified by' and 'last verified by' information.

Description: Changing the scan reason on an obstetric report that contains a uterus section can result in a report that is saved in the database but not visible on screen. This can cause problems, as the event can then be verified, which verifies the invisible report too, and prevents some features that should be available on unverified events, even after all visible reports have been unverified once more, in order to make changes.Resolution: The uterus report is now marked deleted when changing the scan reason of an obstetric exam with a saved uterus report to one that does not need a uterus report.

Description: The report properties page option buttons are confusing, the user is offered 'Save' or 'OK'. Should have 'OK' and 'Cancel' or 'Save' and 'Exit'. Whatever we use a button that is labelled OK should not exit the page without saving changes. The word OK signals acceptance and/or agreement, thus acceptance of the user changes.Resolution: Save and OK have been changed to Save and Cancel. Pressing Save will also close the dialog.

Description: Exams can have multiple diagnosis codes. These are stored in the flexdat table. If there are no diagnosis codes in the setup then CRIS stores unnecessary diagnosis records in flexdat with null code values.Resolution: It is now no longer possible to add a blank diagnosis code to an event, unless there is a blank diagnosis code defined in the diagnosis codes table.

Description: On the NW Dating scan there is an information field that shows what date to book an anatomy scan which defaults to 20 weeks. Some trusts would prefer to be able to set this to default to a different number of weeks.Resolution: Added new XR settings and altered the obstetrics forms to allow configuration of rescan days to default to different dates from that defined as the normal default.

Description: When a report has been locked, the locked icon is only displayed for 6 hours. This icon should be displayed until the report is no longer locked. Locks will be deleted after at least 24 hours instead.

Description: When using batch verify on obstetric exams the user cannot undo the verify action on an obstetric exam by using the right click option on the verify list.Resolution: It is now possible to unverify sections of an obstetric event, in the same way as sections of a normal event can be unverified. This can be done by performing a right click on the verified report from the unverified list, but only after the event has been verified from that list.

Description: If you have correctly added a name in the 'unchecked' field - these reports are identified via batch verify, with a 'u' as their status. You need to search using either no radiologists filter, or the radiologist who is identified in the unchecked field. However, they do not display in the unverified list of the report info list screen.Resolution: The unverified tab in the report info lists page now returns the addended and unchecked reports, as well as those that are specifically unverified, as all those statuses should be classed as unverified. This behaviour should now match that of the batch verify list, but with the suspended reports still being excluded as they have their own tab.

Description: It is possible to change an exam code and then go straight into the report by pressing "Report". This causes the reporting page to be displayed incorrectly.Resolution: When entering a reporting page, the reports are only shown for exams that have valid exam codes filled in. This prevents the issue where adding a new exam or changing an exam code at the time of report, added an additional report for a blank exam code on the reporting page.

When an exam that has been reported is being deleted, if the code is removed, then the event is reported without first saving, the report on the deleted exam is no longer shown in the reporting screen.

Sometimes VERIFIED and PROVISONAL can even be printed over each other. There are other occasions when the report header is not updated to reflect changes such as selecting the actioned by or unchecked option from the right click, or changing the reported by, typed by, reported date, and verified status from the report properties page.Resolution: When a report has any details that are visible on the report header, such as the reporter, typist, verification status, actioned by etc, the header gets updated with these new details straight away. This includes right clicking and selecting either verify, unchecked, or



actioned by, and also when saving changes to the report made in the report properties screen.

Description: Radiologists using VR or entering their reports directly would like the ability to enter a second radiologist against the report being entered but that this code is not automatically retained and assigned to subsequent reports created in the same login session. Currently the reporting session, which includes the second radiologist, is set once and retained until the user manually clears it.Resolution: The second radiologist can now be filled in on a report by report basis, by filling in the unchecked field on the finished report page. This will only affect the code stored against the second radiologist on the report, if there is no second radiologist set up for the current reporting session. If the unchecked tickbox is selected the second radiologist set in this field will be set as the checker, and the report set to unchecked, rather than just setting the second radiologist on the report. Unlike the reporting session, any value set in the unchecked field will not be remembered for the whole reporting session.

Adding an undo option to replace the rescanned image with the image that was replaced. If a user does not have delete image permission then pop up a warning message asking "Are you sure you want to replace the existing scanned image".Resolution: It is now much more difficult to accidentally rescan. An undo feature has also been added.

Description: For an event that has multiple images scanned onto it that are different types, for example REQCARD, REFERAL or MRI, when you go into the dictation module and the tabs appear to view the images, only the REQCARD images are displayed and not the others.Resolution: All types of images saved on an event now show on the dictation page. By default, the first image of a REQCARD type will be selected and displayed when the dictation page is opened, however if there are no images of that type on the event, the order tab is selected.

Description: When the 'ExamCosts' table is first populated with a chosen Exam Cost Code, every exam is loaded and the first row (index of 0) is the CAAAG exam. Now when the user chooses a particular modality, the table is re-populated with exams associated with the chosen modality. Now if the first exam in the table has a cost added to it, the values in 'Total In' and 'Total Out' are updated with the values from the CAAAG exam. When the record is saved, everything is OK and the totals are correct. So, when a new modality is chosen, row with index 0 needs to point to the first exam in the new table.Resolution: The indexing of the table data remains correct when a 'modality' is chosen.

In Note 0035361, it mentioned that Test 1614 is failed. Actually, it is test case issue. Now the test case of 1614 is updated. Retest of latest version of 1614 is successful. Thus, this issue is not happening now.

The row in the table list is correctly updated to green when the existing data is changed in the Edit Groups or Enter Password functions.



In the General tab if one of the input fields is modified then all the fields are correctly updated to green.Resolution: If the user now modifies their security group settings and/or their password, all the fields within the 'General' tab are now highlighted to indicate there has been a change to the user's record.

208541 - Incorrect display in 'Local XRT Value' field when changing XR settings.Reported in: 06.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: Changing the value of an XR setting on another terminal updates the field labelled "Local XRT Value".Resolution: The values stored against the local XR settings used to change to be the settings for whichever XR was currently being edited, whether it they were for a different terminal or even a different trust. This meant the value displayed in the XRT Local value was always incorrect after saving XR Settings, unless the settings being edited were for the current terminal. Now whenever the settings are saved, the local settings are recompiled from the settings currently stored in the XR, XRTR, XRS and XRT values of the set up table, so they always display the correct information for the current terminal.

Description: In diary set up, when copying rooms and using the 'close bank holiday' option it will only work if you have the same room in the top and bottom panes i.e. you cannot copy weeks from one room to another and close for bank holidays at the same time. There is no error message to say that the rooms have not been closed for bank holidays.Resolution: When copying a diary from one room to another and the "Close Bank Holidays" check box is selected, the days which are bank holidays are now closed. The bank holidays were previously only closed when copying rooms forward rather than copying one room to another.

Description: Table Setup > Places > Rooms.

In the department field if you select a department, it populates the field fine but in the hover help it will display the site code for the department at the top of the list.Resolution: The department lookup on the rooms table now displays the departments for the site of the selected record, rather than the departments for all sites at the current trust. Description: After making unsaved changes to a table, and pressing the red X to close the tab, a warning dialog appears asking the user if they really want to close the table without saving.

If the user does close the table, and then tries to close the setup window, another dialog appears asking if they want to close without saving the above tables, event though those tables and the changes are already lost.Resolution: Now when a setup tab is closed a warning dialog will ask if the changes are to be ignored. If the user selects "yes" then there will be no warning when setup window is closed.

A warning message is displayed if a user attempts to do this.

Description: When a record cannot be saved in the setup tables due to it having duplicate keys with another record that has already been saved to the database, the only information they get



told is that records are duplicates and could not be saved, and that the highlighted rows could not be saved.Resolution: Duplicate records created in the set up tables that could not be saved due to the keys already having been used, now have their key values returned to the user in the failed to save records error message, in order to give users a bit more indication of the keys that already exist in the database.

Description: The following issue only occurs after opening, closing and reopening the exams per hospital table.

When opening the exams per hospital table, the current site is set in the examination field.Resolution: When the set up tables are closed using the 'x' on the specific tabs, the forms are reset more comprehensively, in the same way they are when F5 is pressed. This results in the form being in the same state as the first time it was used, for each subsequent time it is used.

Description: The button which shows the end dated codes on the radiologists table does not seem to have any effect, the end dated codes are always displayed, even when the checkbox is deselected.Resolution: The excluding of end date radiologist codes in the set up table now works again when using the "Show End Dated" check box.

Description: If a referrer link is attempted to be created in setup, the codes entered for referrer and referral source are not validated when they are each input, but only when both fields have been filled in. The validation is then performed but null pointer errors are thrown if the codes are invalid.Resolution: Whenever a referrer code or referral source code is set on a new referrer link in the referrer link set up table, it is validated at the time it is entered, rather than only when both codes have been entered. The validation between the type of referral source and referrer is still only performed when both fields are entered.

Description: The radiologists table has a unique index on code. 4.19 Spine

Description: New functionality must be added to implement PDS. This will include the ability to update patient demographics from the spine, check for consent, update consent and override consent.Resolution: PDS has been implemented so that patient demographics are updated from the spine at key points. Consent is checked when displaying sensitive data created at other trusts and consent can be updated via the demographics page or when attending an event. Dissent can also be overridden if a reason and justification is provided.

The XR setting SPINE.PDSActive controls which parts of PDS are turned on. The security setting GENERAL.OVER_CONSENT allows a user to override consent. The security setting GENERAL.UPDATE_CONSENT allows a user to update consent. The security setting GENERAL.UNTRACE allows a user to untrace a patient.

Description: There are a number of changes required for the security release that are related to the interfaces.Resolution: The PAS interface now logs incoming messages to the intlog table. The following information is logged.

The queue that the messages was received in. The message id. The date and time that the messages was processed. Notes which will contain the message type, the patient id and whether the message failed or was processed.

Note that the patient id will only be present in the notes if the interface was able to retrieve it from the message.



4.20 Statistics

Description: When a field can be nullable, and the <> operator is used on a value, the null values are not included in the list of results. This is only a problem when using a specified value, not when using join on two fieldsResolution: When the <> operator is used on a value in the selection criteria of statistical reports, the null values are now included in the list of results returned.

215627 - Null checks always applied on stat selection criteriaReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12e Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: Since the outer join syntax became possible in stats, all fields have had to be marked as nullable, in order to allow the correct data to be returned when a table is outer joined. This is due to the fact that even fields that cannot be null when data is present, can be null when the record is not present at all.

These null checks can significantly slow the querying down, and as outer joins are not going to be used particularly often, is quite inefficient.

We need to be able to mark fields as none nullable again, so the null checks are not always applied, but if the table is outer joined, then the nulls should be added.Resolution: Null checks on selection criteria are now only applied if the field itself can be null, or if the table that contains the field is outer joined in the selection criteria of the stat.

212586 - Failed to save stat correctly after loading a selection / output templateReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12d Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: If a stat template is loaded, and a new output is added from a saved output template, it is not saved on the stat template when it is overwritten, only when a new template is created from it. The same is true when a selection format is loaded for an existing stat. When the stat is saved the original selection format is still present on the configuration.Resolution: -

Description: If there are multiple fields added to a total line in statistics, each can have a different count field. If a count field is left blank for one of the entries, when it is selected first after loading a stat the field behaves correctly, as nothing is displayed in the field. If it is selected after another field that contains a count field, then that count field is populated on the entry that currently does not have one set, instead of it being blank.

It is also not possible to remove a count field from an entry, only add a new one, or change one that is already present.Resolution: It is now possible to once more blank a count field out on a total line entry. Entries



without a count field set now display a blank count field, rather than the count field of the last selected entry.

RIS_STAT243: Deferred Payments - To report data for charges that have been deferred, include demographics of patients that have not returned within 7 days to pay.

Description: The specific outcome fields on a pregnancy need to be made available in stats, when performing selections on any scan record.Resolution: The main fields contained in the outcome scans for a pregnancy are now selectable in stats even when querying previous scans. Description: When trying to remove the Y axis field of a total line it appears to work, but when the stat is run or saved, the original value is still present in the field. 211639 - Selection criteria is not output correctly when included on stat report.Reported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: When the selection criteria of a stat report is to be output as part of the generated report, it no longer displays correctly. The page break after the criteria is output is not handled the same as page breaks in other parts of the file, and this causes the display to not print correctly.

The criteria also does not always correctly match the criteria as it is on the stat, the joining syntax of AND and OR can be output erroneously.

Also if there is no selection criteria on the stat but the option is selected to output the criteria, the first page has two headers on it.Resolution: The selection criteria is now displayed correctly when it is output as part of a stat report. If there is no selection criteria for the stat being run, then the results of the stat will start on the first page, in the same way as when the selections are not to be output.

211247 - Allow Functionality for Word Wrap on StatsReported in: N/A Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: Can we allow a word wrap function on the statistics package that will allow fields such as REPORTS.ReportText to be printed in full. Words would have to wrap round after 120characters or soResolution: It is now possible to wrap text results of a field on user friendly stat output. This allows the whole contents of a field to be contained within the boundaries of a user friendly output even when the length of the field is greater than the page width. This enables all the information to fit on the printout and none is missing off the right hand side.

Any field where the width is specified to be larger than the page width will allow, will wrap the text around onto the subsequent lines, as long as the fit to page option is selected on the user friendly output.

It is now also possible to blank out the width field of an output field, and the number of characters allowed for the field will not be limited. The contents of the field will continue to word wrap until they are all included on the output.

Description: The top level fields in stats (Start date and End date), are now displayed in all available trees in the module, when they should only be available on the selection criteria tree. They are also selectable by double clicking on them when they should only be draggable.Resolution: The stat end date and stat start date fields are only displayed in the available fields selection on the selection criteria page, and not on any of the other available fields selections. They cannot be added to the selection criteria by double clicking on them, only by dragging and dropping.

Description: The format of numerical fields needs changing so that the values are more user friendly to read. Currently number formats are displayed as left justified. Description: The fields in the lookup of the "Y Axis Field" on the total lines, do not match the names of the fields on the available fields selection. Ideally all the places a field can be seen / selected, should use the filename and short description style name.Resolution: Any place which uses a pop up list of statistic datafields now uses the database table name followed by the short description of the field as the code, rather than the database table name followed by the database column name. This is to bring them into line with the display of the fields in the available fields selections.

209772 - Obstetric fields in stats.Reported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: The fields in the Ultra record need to have the lookup tables set on them. In addition, it needs to be possible to select those reports which have abnormalities on them without it being to difficult to understand.Resolution: Fields on obstetric forms that are contained within the ultra or ultdat records, now return the text visible on screen for each obstetric field, rather than the code representing the description, according to the particular lookup table the field used. This makes things easier when querying as the user no longer needs to know which code is relevant for which piece of text on each form.

209084 - Removing multiple selection criteria in stats.Reported in: 06.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: If multiple selection criteria are selected in stats, and the selected nodes contain brackets, when the remove button is pressed, the criteria is not removed and null pointers are thrown in the Java console. This can then prevent the removing of other selection criteria on the page.Resolution: The removing of multiple selection criteria in stats is handled much more reliably. Multiple rows can be highlighted in the selection criteria page and removed successfully without causing the configuration to become invalid. This includes removing multiple brackets (as these now always get matched up with their opposing bracket), as well as field headers and selection criteria themselves.

required suffixes or prefixes are added if they are missing, and any redundant suffix or prefix is removed.

209146 - Linking tables being inserted when auto joins are not to be used.Reported in: 06.04 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: When the "use auto joins" check box is not selected in stats, the links between the tables are not automatically inserted, however, the tables that the system believes are required for the auto joins are still inserted into the query. This results in invalid large queries, as even though the auto join links are not present, the tables are, and what is more, they no longer have a link to them as the system is not adding them automatically.

Also, if auto join links is not selected, if there is no selection criteria for the auto joined links, the system thinks we are still using them.Resolution: When a stat is not using auto joins, the linking tables that would be inserted when using the auto joins, are no longer inserted. This means when the checkbox is unticked, the only tables and links that are added are those displayed in the stat configuration. If the auto links (highlighted in red) are then removed, the tables the link refers to will not be included in the stat anymore, as the user has removed the need for them to be included.

Description: The amount of time it takes to open stats is becoming unreasonable. It should be much quicker than it is.Resolution: Opening the stats module for the first time now takes less time, especially when there are many terminals assigned to the current trust.

Description: When a field is added to the selection criteria in stats, the description of the field does not match that of the field selected. The selected field is displaying Table name followed by short description of field, whereas the selected selection criteria fields shows the Table name followed by the column name.Resolution: The list of selection criteria fields now uses the database table name followed by the short description of the field as the code, rather than the database table name followed by the database column name. This is to bring them into line with the display of the fields in the available fields selections.

Description: When there is a prompt table used in the statistical reporting selections, that is large enough to require a scroll bar to view all entries, selecting an entry in the list actually selects the next row in the table.Resolution: When selecting a value from a prompt table in the statistical reporting module,



where the prompt table is so large that it displays a scrollbar, single clicking on a value in the table will, no longer cause the table to adjust, such that the selected value is at the top of the list. This therefore means double clicking on one row, inserts the selected record, instead of the record the mouse cursor is pointing to, after the table has been adjusted.

209111 - Popup table displayed on valid selection criteria.Reported in: 06.04 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: When selection criteria has been added to a stat such that one field = another field, if the focus is lost, either by clicking on the operator field, or by pressing tab, the popup table is displayed (if there is one set). Other selection criteria can set selected, or return can be pressed and the pop up does not appear.Resolution: In the statistical reporting selection criteria, the text entered in the value field for a selection criteria, is no longer treated as being invalid, if the text displayed is equal to the datafield that had been dragged and dropped into the criteria, even though the field does not exist in the lookup table set on the field.

208392 - Outer joins in statsReported in: 05.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: It would be preferable to be able to perform left and right outer joins on fields in stats, such that selecting a field from one table to add to the output fields, does not necessarily affect the results returned.Resolution: There are now two additional statistic operators added, that can only be selected when a selection criteria has been added between two database fields of the same type.

The fields are LO and RO, and stand for left outer join, and right outer join.

When one of these operators are selected instead of the = operator, the records where the two fields are equal are returned, as well as those records that do not have a matching record in the other table.

Which of the left / right handedness required, is dependant on which table could contain the null records, and which is on the left hand / right hand side of the selection criteria.

Description: The time taken to clear the stats screen is longer than it needs to be.Resolution: When using "F5" or the "Clear Stat" button in stats, the screen is cleared almost instantaneously. Previously this could take a number of seconds.

4.21 Stats Scheduler

214848 - Stat dates not being incremented by the schedulerReported in: 06.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12d Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)



Description: It is possible for the dates of a stat to not be incremented correctly by the scheduler under specific circumstances.

These circumstances are, the dates being incremented must be the first date of the month, the range type must be months, the repeat period must be 6 months, quarterly or monthly, and the current month must have less days in it then the month of the date being incremented.Resolution: When the scheduler is used to run and reschedule a stat, the dates are now incremented correctly, even under the following circumstances:

The dates to increment are on the first day of a month, the month of that date has more days in it than the current month, and the stat range type is set to months.

Previously this scheduler would not increment the dates matching this criteria.

212061 - Stopping long stats with large sql queryReported in: 06.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12b Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: The query which currently gets long running stats in order to warn or stop them when they will take too long to complete, uses the gv$sql.sql_text field. This field does not always return the required full query, but only the first 1000 characters. This can mean that the text returned does not always contain all the information required, and long running stats are not always stopped.Resolution: The query which checks for long running stats, now interrogates the full sql being run, rather than just the first 1000 characters. This allows the stat identifiers to appear anywhere in the query, and it will still be stopped, rather than the identifiers having to appear in the first 1000 characters.

209964 - CRISSCHEDULER is too long for a user IDReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: The user ID of CRISSCHEDULER is too long to fit in any user ID fields, so if an error is thrown and attempted to be written to the log table, it fails.Resolution: The statistical reporting scheduler user is now CRISSCHED rather than CRISSCHEDULER, in order to make it small enough to fit in the user ID column of the database, should it ever need to.

206987 - Number of Copies on Stats Scheduler pageReported in: 07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: sjennings (Steven Jennings)

Description: The number of copies on the stats scheduler page defaults to 0, to stop the reports being printed when no printer is selected for the stat, instead of sending them to the printer in the terminal settings. This could have been better thought out as people are forgetting to fill in the number of copies to print.Resolution: When a printer is specified against a stat that is to be scheduled, the number of copies now defaults to 1, rather than remaining blank. This is to reduce the number of times a user forgets to fill in a number of copies when selecting a printer. The number of copies field is now also validated such that only whole numbers are allowed in the field.



4.22 Voice Recognition

212034 - 'No Dragon Voice Recognition profile found' displayed behind 'Please select a role for this session ' screenReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12 Resolved by: cturner (chris turner)

Description: When a new user with multiple roles and without a Dragon Voice Recognition User Profile attempts to Log In to the application for the first time the warning message 'No Dragon Voice Recognition profile found. Would you like to choose one?' gets displayed in between the HSS Splash screen and the 'Please select a role for this session' screen. At this point nothing in any of the 3 dialogues displayed can be selected using the mouse.Resolution: Changed prompt to use JOptionPane which handles focus better. Focus should now go to the most recently displayed window rather than going to neither.

208435 - Correction menu fails to close after correctionsReported in: 06.12 Fixed in: 2.07.12a Resolved by: cturner (chris turner)

Description: The pop-up correction menu, triggered by the 'correct that'/'correct [word]' command will on occasions remain open after corrections have been made. This seems to occur when Dragon misinterprets correction menu commands, such as 'choose two' or registers other input as valid dictation and continues entering text into CRIS. The only way to close the correction menu after this happens is by clicking on the application window.Resolution: Sets edit control to disabled when correction mode is active

Description: On a workstation configured to use voice recognition the VR microphone icon at the top has a hover help so that it shows the Dragon user id loaded. When the user logs out and another user logged in then this hover help shows the previous user ID until either the user navigates to the report page or presses the microphone button to turn on or off the microphone.Resolution: The user displayed on the hover help of the VR control button, now gets updated each time a dragon user profile is opened. When a user logs out of the application and back in, the user will be displayed as "No User Loaded" until dragon has successfully loaded the selected user, at which point the user on the hover help is updated to match that loaded user.

4.23 Worklists

Description: If the XR setting ForceReloadOnListSelect is set to Yes and the event reloaded from the list is reported then the report is not reloaded on each select.Resolution: With regards to the Batch Verify list, the latest version of an event and all it's associated contents, e.g. reports, exams etc, is loaded from the database when selected and opened.

Description: The unreported tab on the report info list is designed to show events when none of the exams have been reported. Some sites would like to be able to configure this list to show events were individual exams have not been reported. This is so that different exams can be reported by different people and still appear on the list until all the exams have been reported.Resolution: Report info list now shows unreported exams.

Description: It is possible for the WAITINGLIST.ColumnDisplayOrder user preference to stop the waiting list displaying.Resolution: This error was due to "Time" being missed from the user WAITINGLIST.ColumnDisplayOrder property, which describes the order of the columns in the waiting list.

Now any event list that does not define the standard: Date, Time, Site, ReqNo, RefLoc, Referrer, Examinations columns will be added on the fly to the end of the sequence. As will: HospNo, Surname, Forenames, DOB if displaying patient.

Description: If an event has been deleted, it is still returned by the session management if it is part of a session, as it was thought anything present in the worklist table should be returned. When an event is deleted, the worklist entries for it still remain, therefore CRIS believes it should still show in the session management. It causes problems displaying in the event list as it has no examsummary, due to it being deleted.Resolution: Sessions being displayed in the session management module no longer try and load deleted events that had been added to the session before they were deleted.

Description: If a report, or post processing details are changed and the screen is attempted to be cleared, a message appears informing that there are unsaved changes. Description: When in session management, if return is pressed on one of the session management filter fields, the list of possible sessions is returned, but the focus moves to the title field of the session entry. The focus should remain in the filter fields and only transfer to the title field when a session is selected. The focus should also be taken back to the session filters when F5 is pressed to clear the session management page.Resolution: When a search for a session is performed by pressing return on one of the session filter fields in the session management module, the focus now remains in the filter area until a session is selected. When a session is selected, the focus moves to the title of the session, and when an event in the session is selected. When F5 is pressed to clear the screen, the focus now moves back to the filter area, in order to allow the user to enter more search criteria to find another session.

Description: Exams have a real time value in the ExaminationCodes table. If this is null, CRIS assumes a length of 5 minutes.

Booking such an exam into the diary with 5 minute roomslots uses one roomslot as expected. However, if the appointment is resized to say 15 minutes, then 4 roomslots will be allocated instead of 3. The fourth roomslot will appear to be greyed out.

Being able to adjust the time an appointment takes in single minute intervals would prevent this from being an issue.

5.2.4 Dictation

Description: Existing dictations are now opened in non edit, read only mode. Description: When saving an event, the fields on screen are validated before the save proceeds. However, for an attendance, it is possible to e.g. blank out the referrer and referral source, and save via the post process page.

Additionally it is possible to delete all the exams and save via the report page.

Description: The HL7 spec states that the cancel reason should not exceed 200 characters. Rejecting a request will check the length of the text being inserted in to the ORDERS.CANCEL_REASON field. However, cancelling a request does not check the length of this text.

Description: When an appointment is cancelled, the end time of the cancellation status is supposed to be filled in with the time of the original appointment for the exam, if there is one present. Currently this does happen when going through the cancel finish page, but when right clicking and cancelling from an event list, this is not the case, the end time remains as null.

There is also an additional inconsistency whereby if a request is cancelled via the cancel finish page the end date and end time of the cancellation status are both null, but if a right click cancel on the request list is used the end time is null, but the end date is set to 01/01/2099.

These situations should all result in consistent data in the database.

Description: When using the unprocessed list it is possible to action an event that has a syringe icon against it as it has been injected. This puts a processing locked icon in place of the syringe icon. It is then possible to press "Unaction" on the event, and this should remove the lock, and replace it with the previous icon, however it currently removes the lock and also the syringe icon. This could be a risk as someone may not realise that the event has already been administered with radioactive material.

Description: In some instances CRIS does not close the images in PACS. When the user is reporting, when they click verify or finish, the PACS viewer does not receive a DTI message. This is not a problem when working through a worklist, as the viewer opens the next patient's images. But when they get to the end, or verify an individual patient's report, the images are left on the screen.

208056 - Demographic updates to PAS interface with PDS turned on uses the NHS number from his not the message.Reported in: 07.12 Fixed in: 2.09.10a

Description: When a demographic update is received by the PAS interface with PDS turned on for a patient that is already saved in HIS, it will load the patient from HIS. The checks for a null NHS number use the message data, but the PDS Query Retrieve uses the NHS number from the HIS record, which sometimes causes NHS number validation to fail.

Description: Interfaces can fail to save patient because the hospital number is assigned to an existing CRIS patient. This results in an unclosed connection.

Description: If an order is sent with invalid data such as an invalid site code CRIS then states "Cannot save event" "integrity constraint error" it then clears and does not create the event however the order has already been marked as completed and no longer appears on the outstanding orders list. The user is then left with no visible trace of the order and needs to resend another order from the orders system.

Description: Sometimes disabled fields are not the default Java disabled component colour. This can lead to inconsistencies in the user interface, when some disabled components are a darker grey than the default disabled colour. In some cases, the disabled colour even changes when the field gains and loses the focus.

Description: It is possible to change the time in a disabled text field, by entering the cursor into the field, and using the left and right arrow keys to change the time. If a save button is available the changes will be saved.

Description: The default option select in Theme is Metal, but clicking on it changes the theme distinctly. It is not possible to revert to the default theme without restarting CRIS.

5.2.17 Spine

Description: The default Oracle port of 1521 is hard coded into the hss.cris.ejb.server.SSOBean class, but we cannot guarantee that is the port that is being used to connect to the database, so this needs to be configurable.

In additional the driver is also hard coded which will have to change in future to enable postgres to work with single sign on.

The hostname is retrieved from a HSSSSO.properties file, so it would be possible to change the hostname for a whole URL, enabling a connection to any URL in future.

SID is currently treated in a separate way, presumably to allow connections to train / test databases, so may not need to be in the configurable URL.

Description: It is possible to mark a patient as traced in the PATIENT table but untraced in the HIS table.

Description: An Extract C stat is required on the Oracle version, which is equivalent to the old Dataflex stat. Whilst doing this, extracts A and B may as well be created, they are purely smaller versions of the same output.

211839 - Stats selected items GUI improvementsReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.09.10a

Description: The stats fields added to a stat configuration have different display colours, some uneditable fields are a bright blue, whereas some are a grey blue. These should all be the same grey blue colour for text that cannot be edited, to keep these in line with the standard throughout CRIS.

In addition, when a component is selected, it appears to move slightly. It would look much nicer if this did not happen as it appears that the component flickers to the user.

Finally, the components are designed to fit the width of the area they are currently being displayed in. If a scroll bar is added to the component they are being displayed in they do not fit. Also if the whole stats module is resized, the components are not updated to reflect this change in size, and they do not fit as they should.

Description: The size of the results that are read and processed in each query of stats is handled by the STATS.ResultSetSize XR Setting. This limits the number of results so that memory usage can be limited, however the number of fields added to the stat also affects the memory usage, in that the more fields added, the more memory is obviously required to store the data.

There should be something which automatically reduces the number of results loaded at once when the number of fields is over a certain amount. So that the memory usage does not climb too high when there are lots of fields in the output, in addition to the existing functionality.

210621 - ~ is not handled the same in stats as in reporting.Reported in: 06.12

Description: When using ~ in a report, single ~ are displayed as single tilda, and double tilda is also displayed as single tilda. This is true for all cases that are not control characters. The viewer for stats has not been changed to reflect this however, and so is inconsistent with the report view.

Description: If the value of the number of overflow exams >> =1 then when the mouse is hovered over the overflow the tool tip displaying the exam code and description is not displayed.

If the value of the number of overflow exams >> =2 then when the mouse is hovered over the overflow the tool tip is displayed with only one exam code and description. If the value of the number of overflow exams >> =3 then when the mouse is hovered over the overflow the tool tip is displayed with only two exam codes and descriptions. It appears that the number of exams displayed in the tool tip is always one less than the overflow value.

214919 - Inefficient SQL when changing order of events in a sessionReported in: 2.07.12 Fixed in: 2.09.10a

Description: When changing the order of events in a session, it takes a long time to save the changes when the session is saved, as all events are individually updated when the save button is pressed.

At the moment this has to be done as multiple events could have been moved to different places, however this could be speeded up by saving the order each time an event is moved. This would mean only two statements should need to be executed, one to set the new order on the event being moved, and another to either increment or decrement the events between the current position and the new position by one.
