“Over the river and through the snow, to Grandmother’s house we go.” Most of us remember going to friends and family for the holidays. As we grow older, distance begins to celebrate us and spending the holidays grows harder to spend it with those we are close too. This Thanksgiving, celebrate in style by attending Ogier Garden’s first annual organic Golden Harvest Thanksgiving Feast. The event will be held on November 28, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ogier Gardens located at 1 UNF Drive Jacksonville, FL 32224.
There will be free food and games all centered-around Thanksgiving Day including: a Turkey Trot obstacle course, build a pinecone Turkey, sweet potato casserole and fresh green beans. In addition to
mingling with people, the Ogier Gardens student gardeners will be giving free cooking class on how to make organic food for the holidays.
