IGNITE YOUR SWEET TOOTH: WAXING KARA LAUNCHES NEW HONEY PRODUCTS FOR SPRING

The sustainable Farm to Body® brand launches four new seasonal products

OWINGS MILLS, MD - FEBRUARY 25, 2019 - Waxing Kara, a sustainable Farm to Body® beauty and edibles brand inspired by honeybees, announced today their lineup of new seasonal offerings. From Raw Honey Sticks and Lemon Honey Lollipops to Avocado and Blackberry Honey, these products are the perfect sweet treats for Springtime.

“At Waxing Kara, we’re always looking for new and exciting ways to give our honey a new spin. Our goal has always been to make this staple ingredient as versatile and delicious as possible, and our new seasonal products do just that,” said Founder Kara Brook. “These honey treats are a celebration of everything we love about Springtime, a time to renew our mind, body and soul.”

New Products Include:

● Raw Honey Sticks ($11.50): Straight from the hive, these Certified Kosher honey sticks are raw, delicious and completely real, just the way the bees made it. With eighteen sticks per box and available in five flavors (Clover, Wildflower, Blackberry, Orange and Buckwheat), the Raw Honey Sticks are perfect to add to coffee or tea, almond butter toast, or for an no-mess, on-the-go snack.

● Lemon Honey Lollipops ($10): Made with a sweet and tart blend of simple ingredients, the Lemon Honey Lollipops give a cup of tea a perfect swirl of sweetness and hint of citrus. Perfect for soothing a sore throat, adding an extra kick to a simple cocktail, or just to enjoy on their own.

● Avocado Honey ($18): Hailing from California, where hives pollinate groves of every millennial’s favorite fruit, Waxing Kara’s Avocado Honey is dark and rich, although still has a milder sweeter flavor. Perfect on top of pancakes, or in marinades for poultry or pork, it’s raw, pure and Star K Certified Kosher.

● Blackberry Honey ($18): Uniquely floral with deep rich notes of berry, Waxing Kara’s Blackberry Honey is made by hives in the Pacific Northwest. Here, the bees pollinate large patches of wild blackberries, which gives this honey a uniquely mild floral flavor. This honey pairs well with goat cheese, greek yogurt and fruit.

About Waxing KaraWaxing Kara developed organically from the founder Kara Brook’s artistic background. Kara always enjoyed using the unique method of painting with beeswax and, in 2010, started beekeeping herself to sustainably provide for her encaustic paintings. Throughout this process, she learned about the importance of bees and their role in supporting our planet and improving overall sustainability. Soon, her passion for natural skincare products inspired her to expand her business and Kara began creating delicious honey treats and skin-loving bath and beauty products. At her 102-acre buzzing farm in Maryland, Waxing Kara has created a little slice of honey heaven where bees can thrive. Her hand-crafted products are made with a genuine passion for nourishing the mind, body, and spirit. www.waxingkara.com
