Over 18 then an acceptance on social media is okay.

Under this age it is not accepted, and all communication should be through the school.

A poster is a good thing to have in the classroom to remind children of what a digital citizen is and how to stay safe online- make it as a class and revisit it often.

Talk about why we are needing to be safe online and how we can be safe online.

Key stage 2 computing:

Logo- simple language

Beebots- very basic

Probots- show the algorithm as you go along

Screen turtles can be used in KS2

-Collection of cross curricula tools-Simple software that children can write algorithms to

-Logo- a good programme where they can create a code programme. Contains familiar language.

Scratch- a programming website. Easy to use, piece together codes to form an overall moving image (visual code).

An hour of code UK (code.org.uk) teaches you to code within an hour. Looks similar to scratch.
