November 17 th -21 st WPES Student Council is collecting canned goods for the holiday season to distribute to local citizens through Operation Care. This organization supports many of our WPES students and families. Please send canned foods to your student’s homeroom teacher throughout this week. All items brought in by Friday, November 21 st . The class that brings in the most canned food items will be rewarded with a tasty “Superhero Helpers – Tasty Brunch”! We look forward to serving others this holiday season! Upcoming Dates: November 26-28 is Thanksgiving Break- NO SCHOOL Reading: Drawing Conclusions Our main selection for the week will be Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type. Our skill is Grammar: Types of Sentences Writing: North Pole Brochure Math: Two-Digit Subtraction We will continue regrouping with subtraction this week. Social Studies: Our Country Today We will finish the unit called “Out country Today”. The test will be on Thursday, November 20 th . A study guide is in your child’s Friday folder. Please sign the sheet to let us know that your child has studied. All students that bring back their study guide signed will receive a sticker.
