Updates to the Services Cost Proposal QuantityThis section explains the updates made to the Services Cost Proposal Page.

Updates to the Services Cost Proposal Page

The new Date field has been added to the SFDC in the Students Teacher Grade pageNotes: * CP = Cost Proposal

* A CP template should exist

1. Log into salesforce.com using the 5.10 MCD Super User profile.

2. From the Home page, click the Accounts tab.

The Accounts tab opens with the list of recent account.

3. From the list, click any Account.

The Account page layout opens.

4. Click the Create CP Lite CP button from top of the Accounts page.

The CPLite Home page opens.

5. Click the Next button.

Updates made to Summary page

The new Date field has been added to the Summary page.Note: A CP template should exist.

1. Log into salesforce.com using the 5.10 MCD Super User profile.

2. From the Home page, click the Accounts tab.

The Accounts tab opens with the list of recent account.

3. From the list, click any Account.

The Account page layout opens.

4. Click the Create CPLite CP button from top of the Accounts page.

The Summary page opens.

10. Check the summary page for New Date field.

The new date field, Close/PO Expected Date has been added to the Summary Page in CP Lite.

Update made to the existing Email Confirmation field in CP Lite.

The Email Confirmation field is now editable and the values of Pick list have changed.Note: * A CP template should exist

10. Check the Email Confirmation field.

Depending on the pick list values, the existing Summary and Detail emails deprecated [need more explaination].

Initialization of the new Print Preview Option done to the value on the current user. [needs to be written a bit clearer – not sure what needs to be done.]

11. The field is required if any value other than Do Not Sent Email is selected in the Email Confirmation field.

Update made to the default quantity of teacher students grade in CPLite

A new feature has been added in Teacher Students grade field i.e. enter blank instead of "0" in multiple and side by side comparison option in CPLite. Note: A CP template should exist

Updates made to Asset association with Customer profile in FOO

A new field has been added in Asset association with Customer profile in FOONote: Refer to the Special Products tab in the Customer Asset Profile Backlog list XL for a list of Special Products.

1. Login to salesforce.com.

2. Create a CPO with special products.

3. Submit the CPO to SAP.

4. Check for SAP order number.

5. Check if the line item status is Partial or Shipped.

6. Check if the Asset is associated with the Customer’s Account.

7. Logout from the system.

Similarly, you can repeat the same above procedure for Asset association with Customer profile in BOO [need explanation].

Update made to visibility of Special Assets in the Accounts page

A new feature has been added related to visibility of Special Assets in the Accounts page14. Login to salesforce.com.

15. Click the Accounts tab.

The list of recently used Accounts appears.

36. Check if the report shows the following details:

• Order number,

• Shipment warehouse

• Case number,

• Business process,

• Root cause,

• Root causes detail

• Case description
