Computing – E-Safety- Children will be given ways to deal with online content that they find worrying or even believe to be dangerous. PSHE – We will be looking at the equality act. We will also be History, Geography, Art, Music, D&T RE PSHE and ICT We will compare and group together everyday materials on the basis of their properties. Explain that some changes, caused by heating or cooling form new materials, and that these changes are often not reversible. Swimming – We will be developing our swimming skills to ensure everyone can swim more than 25metres. Hockey – we will be developing our basic passing and shooting skills. Encourage reading and ask your children questions about the books. Have conversations which enable the children to express their ideas fully. Maths – Log on to Timestables Rockstars and Mathletics at home using the passwords in the reading records. Children need to make sure their P.E. kits are in school on Thursdays for P.E. lessons and swimming kits are in school for th The children will be sent one piece of homework each week. This homework will be linked to that week’s learning. Spelling: The children should be using their vocabulary mats to practise the terms particular set. Encourage them to practice them at least three times a week using skills they have used at school. Reading: To be practiced daily and recorded in their diary. We will use rounding and investigate Roman Numerals. We will be counting with negative numbers.
