HCNL & OXCAM Annual Christmas Dinner, Sat 16 December We, the Harvard Club of The Netherlands and the Oxford & Cambridge Society of the Netherlands, are delighted to announce that we will be hosting the 2017 edition of our annual Christmas Dinner at De Kas (“The Greenhouse”) restaurant & nursery in Amsterdam. De Kas is a chic garden conservatory serving Mediterranean dishes made from organic ingredients grown on-site. It is located in a set of greenhouses, which date back to 1926 and used to belong to the Amsterdam Municipal Nursery. As food tastes best when it is prepared with the freshest, local ingredients, De Kas grows its own herbs and vegetables in its greenhouses and gardens and on the surrounding farmland in the Beemster area. To accommodate our annual Christmas dinner, the Chef will prepare a special menu based on the day’s harvest of its nursery, supplemented with the best additional ingredients from local suppliers. We are happy to reveal that we have secured De Kas’ most spectacular room for the event: the Garden Room. The menu will not be shared until the Dinner, but guests are invited to provide their dietary preference upon reservation. We hope you will join us!
