Welcome to the Kiwi’s Class!
Meet Your Teachers!
Lead Teacher: Rachael Kellums
I am so grateful to be a part of the Frankie Lemmon School Family and the Kiwi’s Classroom! We are looking forward to getting to know your student and your family; what a fun year of learning, growth, and development we
have ahead!
I have been at Frankie Lemmon since August 2016. I am a graduate of Augustana College with a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Social
Welfare. I am currently pursuing my Birth-Kindergarten Teaching License through East Carolina University online. I moved from my hometown of Moline, Illinois to Raleigh in 2014 and have loved making North Carolina
home. Outside of work, I enjoy being involved with my church, experimenting with new plant-based recipes, riding bikes or swimming
outdoors, and spending time with my friends and family!
I am eager to help your student work towards their goals and celebrate each milestone with them! There is no greater joy than to see a child learn and
grow, and be excited to come to school!
Teacher Assistant: Kendel Jackson
I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and received my undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in Psychology.
After volunteering at Frankie Lemmon for two years, I am incredibly excited to continue my journey here as a teacher assistant. I am looking forward to watching the children grow and am committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment for the students. In my free time I enjoy traveling, running and spending time with friends and family. I can't wait for a great
year in the Kiwis!
Note: We will be sending home monthly newsletters to give an update on the children’s progress and what we’re experiencing in the classroom each month! We hope you enjoyed
our August edition!
