Maundy Thursday- Learning about The Last SupperTogether read through the
story of the Last Supper – (can be found on Reception
Website). Talk about the special words that Jesus uses “This is my
body, This is my blood”. Discuss how we hear these
special words during the mass before communion. Explain
that just like Jesus, the priest will hold up the bread and wine and say these important words.
Suggested Activity: draw a picture of the last supper or
complete the activity on page below
