Useful Hints and Quick Tips Guide Word FormE
Useful Hints Summary:
Ctrl + Click on chosen topic to move to relevant page
· Open Word Form E:
· Navigate to any section:
· Section 2.3 Savings Accounts:
· Tables, Add, Delete Rows:
· Sub-sections: where there are additional Assets
· 2.20 Summary of your Capital: Navigate to Summaries
· Actions: Access to Income Needs, Create Schedule of Assets, Chronology, Manage Currency Conversion Ratios, Calc. Child Benefit, Append text fields
· Create: Schedule of Assets and Chronology
· Manage Currency Conversion Ratios: Convert up to 6 currencies
· 1.10 Child benefit: auto population
· Add Notes field: to the base of each section when required
Word Form E:
Open Word Form E: from New Tasks icon (frequently used forms) or from File>New
Div E Word Opens: Click on Add Ins tab on the tool bar and menu appears for, Navigate, Sub sections, Tables and Actions
Ctrl + Click to return to main menu
Navigate to any section: Click on Navigate and drop down presents all options, as an example click on Savings Accounts and the relevant section opens for editing

Section 2.3 Savings Accounts: opens, edit details>save. Total value of the assets, saved to 2.20 Summary of your capital
Tables, Add, Delete Rows: If there is a requirement for additional assets just, click on tables tab and drop down presented, click on Add Row to add required number of rows

Sub-sections: where there are additional Assets, 2.13 Pensions, 2.2 Real Property, 2.5 Life Insurance etc., click on Sub-sections>Duplicate sub-section>Section 2.13 Pensions, additional Pension is added
A duplicate pension is created: Add the relevant value and the additional pension is added

2.20 Summary of your Capital: Navigate to Summaries
Summaries have been updated: wit total assets added so far

Actions access to: Income Needs, Create Schedule of Assets, Chronology, Manage Currency Conversion Ratios, Calc. Child Benefit, Append text fields
Access to Income Needs: Click Merge Stored list, Duplicate Current Costs to Future Cost, Extract and Store
Merge List to Form:
List of Income Needs Merged to the form: edit Add Rows, Delete Rows if required, then send to the Client for completion, on return, compare Documents and if OK save over original

Create: Schedule of Assets and Chronology
Schedule of Assets:

Manage Currency Conversion Ratios: Convert up to 6 currencies
To convert go to Actions>Manage Currency Conversion Ratios, click on Manage currency conversion ratios
Currency converter presented: Enter the exchange rate in this case $’s and Click on Update symbol ratios for this form and
$’s, are converted to £’s in the Total:

1.10 Child benefit:
1.10 Enter the details of the children, all children under the age of 16 will be entitled to Child benefit
Click, Actions>Calc. Child Benefit, click on Calc. Child Benefit
Child Benefit is calculated, click on Copy Value to 2.18
2.18 Details of Child Benefit are automatically entered

Actions>Append text field to current section: click on Append text field to current section
Text field is added, for additional notes
