Portfolio: each student is required to keep all materials from the course in a binder or google docs folder that will be shared with me. The contents in their portfolio will be rules and history of the game, their created task analysis, their performance evaluations of their physical strength and endurance, and any material passed back. I will collect each folder at the end of each quarter.

Research: The research that I have done for motor learning and development was is the book “Developmental physical education for all children: Theory into Practice” in which it talks a lot about the psychological development along with physical development. Some students can process the information but can’t perform and vis versa they can perform but not process. My theory with the task analysis is to have students not only perform but also to write out and think about the specific movements they will have to do with their skills. Not all of their task analysis will be the same and they have to use their own key phrases to perform the skill at hand. Along with the task analysis they have a written test with rules, regulations, and skills associated with the unit. Physical education is more than just playing a game or doing a skill properly. To make a well rounded PE students they have to think critically about how they can perform the skill and use their skills to enhance their lifelong physical fitness.
