We brought chalk outside onto the play-ground and drew ocean animals on the path!

We took pic-tures of us laying next to our creations and pre-tended we were swim-ming in the ocean!

We explored ocean animals on the table, and talked about where they live and what they are called!

We explored different sea shells on the table as a loose parts activity. We made pat-terns, sorted by shape/size, and talked about their tex-tures as we played.

After Reading an ocean book we talked about what we see in the ocean and drew a picture on pa-per!

Using Blocks we made animal habitats on the table with ocean animals.

We talked about how many blocks we were using, where the ani-mals live and worked to-gether to build some awesome habitats!

“I can do it!” We played a game where we took turns showing off our favorite dance moves! Every-one had a chance to show off what they can do!

We talked about what we can do all by ourselves! Infants and Tod-dlers take pride in their self-help milestones. We focused on cele-brating accom-plishments such as cleaning up after ourselves, climbing on the climbing struc-ture and every-thing that we are proud of!

Big vs. Little! As we get older we can do so much more! We talked about how inde-pendent we are and can be, but it is okay to ask for help too!
