All about me

I am Milad Poya. I am student in central college Nottingham. I am studying level2 Information and Creative Technology Software. Alongside with IT course I am studying level 2 functional skills English and maths.

I decided to take the IT route in my future plans because I have so many interests in IT and especially in Web design. My future plans lie in the IT sector, but I understand to be successful in this course/plan I must take an open view to IT and it is not just about web design.

I want to do level 3 IT Software course for next year to achieve my goals. I look forward to my time at university and after university be ready for a job in the software development industry.

My current interests lie with information & Creative Technology and I keep learning. I benefit from gym. I find this an excellent way of keeping an interest. I attend to the gym every week and I find it challenging to push myself. I really enjoy listening to music and find more about all sort of music.

Audience and purpose of the portfolio

The purpose of my portfolio is to show the university and employer what I have achieved and I did in this course and also to show the skills I have learnt from this course.

My aim of my portfolio is to show my skills. This is for any employer or a company which are looking for employees and my portfolio will show that they should accept me for their job.

The other purpose of my portfolio is to show off my skills so the others employers can see what can I do and what are my abilities in IT. Also the portfolio will show I can work to deadlines and they will now more about my e.g. my planning for my future and my interests.
