See separate Numeracy Home Learning Grid.
This week we have been learning about things we can do with our bodies.
Can you do…. 10 steps on your tiptoes?
9 star jumps?
8 giant footsteps?
7 hops?
6 stretches up to the ceiling?
5 touching your toes?
4 turns, round and round?
3 skips around the room?
2 jumps with feet together?
1pencil roll?
Well done! You have counted all the way down from 10. Have a rest and watch this clip to remind you how we count down from 10

Be Helpful: This week it’s time for another “Chore Challenge”! You should already be making your bed and tidying up your toys so now lets see what else you can do to help around the house. Ask what jobs need doing – maybe it’s dusting, hoovering, washing the dishes, sorting the washing……. Can you do it all by yourself this week? We’d love to hear about how helpful you are being at home.
Stay Healthy: Remember some of the animal movements you practice in the gymhall – can you slither along the floor like a snake? What about a bear? How do you think a giraffe would move? What about an elephant?
Maybe you could think of different animals and try to imagine how they would move.

Singing
Can you learn “Head, shoulders, knees and toes” and perform it to your family?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvEtwhui1k0
Art
How about some finger painting?
What can you paint?
Building
Can you build or draw your own home? You could use bricks or cardboard boxes and tubes.
Think about the different rooms and spaces you have. Maybe you could draw some of the people in your family and put them in different rooms.
Could you make some furniture too?
All About Me
We have been learning about all the things our bodies can do. We are all special in our own ways and are all good at different things. What do you like to do best? Maybe it’s dancing, or building, singing, or painting, dressing up, or running, colouring, or reading, playing games, or drawing, yoga or something else altogether? Can you do your favourite thing right now?
Maybe a grown up could take a photo and send it to us to share with your friends.
